General safety instruction
The appliance is not int ended to be controlled with external timers
or special control systems .
If the su pply cord is damaged, it must be r eplaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order
to avo id a haz ard (on ly for appl iances supplie d with connection
cord).
Do not use steam cleaners or h igh-pressure cleaners to clean the
appliance, as this may result in an electric shock.
CAUTION!
CAUTION: The cooking process has t o be supervised. A short
term cooking process has to be supervised continuously.
Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids sho uld not
be place d on the hob surface since they can get hot.
Aft er use, switc h off the hob element by its control and do not rely
solely on the pan dete ctor.
Danger of fire!
Danger of fire: Do not store items on the cooking surfaces.
Households with children and people with speci al needs
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
abo v e and person s w ith reduced physica l, sensory or mental
cap abilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or inst ruction concerning use of the appliance in
a sa fe way and understand the hazards involved . Chi ldre n shall not
play wit h the appliance. Cleaning and us er maintenance shall not
be made by children wi thout supervisi on.
