FEATURES
• “Plug & Play” supplemental harness for the AXAC-FD1 harness and AXAC-1
interface (both sold separately) to provide a turn signal trigger in 4.2-inch
display screen models.
TOOLS REQUIRED
• Panel removal tool • 9/32” Socket wrench
INSTALLATION
The AXAC-FDSTK will connect at the turn signal indicator in the steering column.
There are two different harnesses that Ford uses with different models. Use the
harness that connects to the turn signal indicator and discard the other.
1. Remove (2) 9/32” screws underneath the steering column shroud.
2. Place the steering column in the downward position. Turn the steering
wheel slightly to the right to access the front of the shroud. Using a panel
tool, pry and release the right side of the shroud. Once complete, do the
same for the opposite side.
3. Slide the shroud slightly forward, then remove.
4. Unplug the turn signal indicator harness, then insert the AXAC-FDSTK
harness in between. (Figure A)
5. Route the (2) bare wires to the AXAC-FD1 harness.
CONNECTIONS
From the harness to the AXAC-FDSTK AXAC-FD1 harness,
connect together the following wires:
Blue/Black to Blue/Black
to Blue/Red Blue/Red
