CONNECTIONS
From the AXVI-6515 harness to the aftermarket radio, connect the:
Yellow wire to the radio’s 12-volt battery or memory wire.
wire to the radio’s ground wire.Black
wire to the ignition wire of the aftermarket radioRed
Orange wire to the illumination wire. (if applicable)
Blue/White wire to the radio’s amp turn on wire.
White wire to the left front positive speaker output.
White/Black wire to the left front negative speaker output radio.
wire to the right front positive speaker output.Gray
Gray/Black wire to the right front negative speaker output.
Green wire to the radio’s left rear positive speaker output.
Green/Black wire to the radio’s left rear negative speaker output.
wire to the radio’s right rear positive speaker output.Purple
wire to the radio’s right rear negative speaker output.Purple/Black
The following (3) wires are only for multimedia/navigation radios that require these wires.
Light Green wire to the parking brake wire of the aftermarket navigation radio.
wire to the VSS or speed sense wire of the aftermarket navigation radio.Blue/Pink
Green/Purple wire to the reverse wire of the aftermarket navigation radio.
Plug the AUX/3.5mm or BT/USB RCAs to the aftermarket radio’s audio AUX input.
12-pin AXSWC harness & 3.5mm jack:
The 12-pin harness & 3.5mm jack is to be used with the (sold separately) to AXSWC AXSWC
retain steering wheel audio controls. If the is not being used, disregard this harness. AXSWC
If it is to be used, refer to the instructions for radio connections and programming. AXSWC
Disregard the harness that comes with the .AXSWC

With the key in the off position:
Connect the AXVI-6515 harness AXVI-6515 interface to , and then to the wiring harness in the
vehicle.
Note: If using the AXSWC, connect it after you program and test the AXVI-6515, with the key
in the off position.
Attention! If the interface loses power for any reason, the following steps will need to be
performed again.
Turn the key (or push-to-start button) to the ignition position and wait until the radio comes on.
Note: If the radio does not come on within 60 seconds, turn the key to the off position,
disconnect the interface, check all connections, reconnect the interface, and then try again.
Turn the key to the off position, and then to the accessory position. Test the interface/radio
for proper operation.
