KIDFIX SL / KIDFIX SL SICT
Der KIDFIX SL / KIDFIX SL SICT ist für zwei unterschiedliche
Einbauarten zugelassen:
1. „Semi universal“
mit den KIDFIX-Rastarmen an
den ISOFIX-
Befestigungspunkten
Dies bedeutet: Der Auto-Kindersitz kann
zusätzlich mit seinen KIDFIX-Rastarmen an
den ISOFIX-Befestigungpunkten des
Fahrzeuges befestigt werden. Diese
Einbauart ist aber nur in Fahrzeugen
zugelassen, die in der nachfolgenden
Fahrzeug-Typenliste aufgeführt sind.
• Die Typenliste wird laufend ergänzt. Die
aktuellste Version erhalten Sie direkt bei
uns oder auf unserer Homepage:
www.britax.com
•Vorsicht! Ihr Kind wird immer mit dem 3-
Punkt-Gurt des Fahrzeuges gesichert.
•Bitte beachten Sie! In manchen
Fahrzeugen ist die Kopffreiheit auf den
Rücksitzen eingeschränkt. Wenn Sie in
diesen Fahrzeugen den KIDFIX SL /
KIDFIX SL SICT mit den KIDFIX-
Rastarmen befestigen, kann es sein, dass
Sie den Kindersitz nicht bis zu einer
Körpergröße von 1,50 m verwenden
können. Das kommt zum Beispiel dann vor,
wenn die KIDFIX-Kopfstütze an der C-
Säule des Fahrzeugs anstößt.
Bitte beachten Sie hierzu die
Größenangaben in der
Typenliste.
2. „Universal“
mit dem 3-Punkt-Gurt des
Fahrzeuges
Dies bedeutet: Der Auto-Kindersitz ist
zugelassen für den Einbau mit geprüftem 3-
Punkt-Automatikgurt (genehmigt nach ECE
R 16 oder vergleichbarer Norm) universell in
allen Fahrzeuge.
• Dies ist eine „universelle“
Kinderrückhalteeinrichtung. Sie ist nach
der ECE R 44/04 zur allgemeinen
Benutzung in Fahrzeugen zugelassen und
wird auf die meisten, aber nicht alle,
Fahrzeugsitze passen.
• Ein korrekter Einbau ist wahrscheinlich,
wenn der Fahrzeug-Hersteller im
Fahrzeug-Handbuch erklärt, dass das
Fahrzeug für eine „universelle“
Kinderrückhalteeinrichtung dieser
Altersgruppe geeignet ist.
• Diese Kinderrückhalteeinrichtung ist unter
strengeren Bedingungen als „universell“
eingestuft worden, als dies bei früheren
Modellen, die diesen Hinweis nicht tragen,
der Fall war.
• In Zweifelsfällen wenden Sie sich bitte an
den Hersteller oder den Verkäufer der
Kinderrückhalteeinrichtung.

KIDFIX SL / KIDFIX SL SICT
The KIDFIX SL / KIDFIX SL SICT is approved for two different
methods of installation:
1. "Semi-universal"
with the
KIDFIX
locking arms
into the ISOFIX fastening
points
This means: You can additionally fasten
the child safety seat into the ISOFIX
fastening points of the vehicle using the
KIDFIX locking arms. However, this
method of installation may only be used in
those vehicles cited in the following vehicle
type list.
• This type list is constantly updated. The
latest version can be obtained from us or
from our homepage: www.britax.com
•Caution! Always secure your child with
the vehicle's 3-point seatbelt.
•Please note: In some vehicles the
headroom in the rear seat is limited. If you
fasten the KIDFIX SL / KIDFIX SL SICT
with the KIDFIX locking arms in these
vehicles, it may not be possible to use the
child seat up to a body height of 1.50 m.
This may be the case, for example, if the
KIDFIX headrest hits the vehicle's C-pillar.
Please observe the heights shown in the
type list.
2. "Universal"
with the vehicle's 3-point
seatbelt
This means: The child car seat is universally
approved for installation using the tested 3-
point automatic seatbelt (in accordance
with ECE R 16 or comparable standard) in
all vehicles.
• This is a "universal" child restraint system.
It is approved in accordance with ECE R
44/04 for general use in vehicles and will
fit most, although not all, vehicle seats.
• The correct installation described by the
vehicle manufacturer in the owner's
manual presumably refers to the vehicle's
suitability for a "universal" child restraint
system for this age group.
• This child restraint system has been
categorised under stringent conditions as
"universal", as was the case with earlier
models that do not bear this label.
• If in doubt, please refer to the
manufacturer or the vendor of the child
restraint system.
