Normal Operation: The red LED indicator light on means battery charging. Green LED indicator on means

battery is fully charged. LED indicator will icker in red in battery is disconnected.

Battery: Battery should be replaced when the required duration is no longer achieved. To avoid any damage

to the xture and ensure its performance, the battery should be replaced with same brand and type.

Test Switch: Press the test button, LED indicator will turn o and the sign will be illuminate from its

battery pack. The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its

end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced.

Installation instructions

Switch o the mains supply before installation.

1. Make a ø 120 mm size cut out hole in the ceiling. Thickness of mounting plate can be in the range

10 to 20 mm.

2. Take o the front cover and change the lens if needed.

3. Take o the battery cover and connect the battery.

4. Connect power supply.

5. Rotate spring and recessed xture into the cut out hole.

Turn on power supply.

Switch o the mains supply before installation.

1. Screw the surface mounting kit ZN1311 to the ceiling and proceed as gure 2–4 in installation

method A.

2. Snap downlight in the surface mounting kit.

Turn on power supply.

WARNING

• Luminaire is suitable entirely for xed mounting.

• The luminaire can be connected only to the electric distribution network, whose installation and

protection complies with the applicable standards.

• Before any manipulation or servicing of the luminaire disconnect the luminaire from AC power. This

operation can be carried out only by an authorized person.

• In case of any damage to any part of the luminaire, don’t use it.

• LED chips inside the luminaire are not replaceable.

• Don’t change inner wiring of the luminaire.
