INTRODUCTIE
IRISCompressor is een handig compressiehulpmiddel waarmee u
uw afbeeldings- en PDF-bestanden in slechts enkele muisklikken
kan converteren in gecomprimeerde PDF- of XPS-bestanden.
De PDF- en XPS-bestanden die IRISCompressor genereert zijn
volledig tekstdoorzoekbaar, dankzij de OCR-technologie van
I.R.I.S. (Optical Character Recognition).
U kan IRISCompressor zowel via zijn interface gebruiken, als door
rechts te klikken op bestanden.
BELANGRIJKE OPMERKINGEN
IRISCompressor Pro kan meerdere afbeeldings- en PDF-bestanden
per keer comprimeren. Het totale aantal pagina's in die bestanden
samen mag maximaal 25 zijn. De tekstherkenning kan worden
uitgevoerd in de talen die u selecteerde tijdens de installatie
(maximaal 5).
Indien u grotere invoerbestanden, of zelfs hele reeksen
invoerbestanden wil comprimeren, dan raden we u andere I.R.I.S.-
producten aan zoals Readiris en IRISDocument Server. Die
producten zijn ook in staat OCR uit te voeren op een groot aantal

De informatie en procedures die in deze documentatie zijn
beschreven, zijn gebaseerd op het besturingssysteem Windows 7.
