unit without the blender goblet or mill
jar fitted.
GAlways unplug the appliance before putting
your hands or utensils in the goblet.
GAlways take care when handling the blade
assembly and avoid touching the cutting
edge of the blades when cleaning.
GOnly operate the blender with the lid in place.
GOnly use the goblet with the blade assembly
supplied.
GNever let the power unit, cord or plug get
wet.
GNever use a damaged appliance. Get it
checked or repaired: see ‘service and cus-
tomer care’.
GNever use an unauthorised attachment.
GSCALD RISK: Hot ingredients should be al-
lowed to cool to room temperature before
blending.
GNever leave the appliance unattended when it
is operating.
GWhen removing the blender or mill from the
power unit:
GGwait until the blades have completely
stopped;
GGdon’t accidentally unscrew the goblet or
mill jar/lid from the blade assembly.

GNever run the blender empty.
GNever blend more than the maximum
capacity stated in the recommended
usage chart.
GTo ensure long life of your blender or mill,
do not run it continuously for longer than
60 seconds.
GSmoothie recipes - never blend frozen
ingredients that have formed a solid mass
during freezing, break it up before adding
to the goblet.
GDo not process hard spices such as
Nutmeg or Turmeric root as they may
damage the blade.
GDo not use the blender as a storage
container. Keep it empty before and after
use.
GAlways use the blender on a secure, dry
level surface.
GNever place this appliance on or near a hot
gas or electric burner or where it could
touch a heated appliance.
GThis appliance shall not be used by
children. Keep the appliance and its cord
out of reach of children.
GMisuse of your blender can result in injury.
GAppliances can be used by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and if they
understand the hazards involved.
