Thank you for purchasing the MANHATTAN® MH3 Classic Optical Desktop
Mouse, Model 177009 (PS/2) or Model 176989 or 177016 (USB).
PS/2 Installation
1. Power o the computer.
2. Plug the mouse into an available PS/2 port (right).
3. Power on the computer.
The computer operating system will automatically detect the new device and
install the proper driver(s). NOTE: You must turn o the computer when installing
a PS/2 device; otherwise, damage to the computer could result.
USB Installation
Simply plug the mouse into an available USB port (right). The
computer operating system will automatically detect the new
device and install the proper driver(s).
Operation
Press or click as indicated to use the
various features and functions.
• Avoid using in extreme heat or humidity, or near dust or dirt.
• The mouse will not work freely on a smooth desk, glass or any reective
surface or 3D mouse pad.
• If the computer doesn’t detect the mouse, check the USB connection and
the USB compatibility of your operating system (Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7
or Mac OS 9.0 and higher).

pop-up menus in
your programs.
Roll the scroll wheel forward or back
to move through a document or
screen. Keep the scroll wheel pressed
down while moving the mouse to
auto-scroll.

Vielen Dank für den Kauf der MANHATTAN® MH3 Optischen Desktop Maus,
Modell 177009 (PS/2) oder Modell 176989 oder 177016 (USB).
PS/2-Installation
1. Schalten Sie den Computer aus.
2. Schließen Sie die Maus an einen freien PS/2-Port an (s. rechte Abb.).
3. Schalten Sie den Computer ein.
Das Betriebssystem erkennt das neue Gerät und installiert den/die Treiber
automatisch. HINWEIS: Beim Anschluss eines PS/2-Geräts sollte der Computer
immer ausgeschaltet sein, da er sonst Schaden nehmen kann.
USB-Installation
Schließen Sie die Maus einfach an einen freien USB-Port an (siehe
rechte Abb.). Das Betriebssystem erkennt das neue Gerät und
installiert den/die Treiber automatisch.
Anwendung
Press or click as indicated to use the
various features and functions.
• Vermeiden Sie Verwendung in extremer Hitze sowie staubige Oberächen.
• Auf polierten, reektierenden oder Glasächen sowie auf 3D-Mauspads
funktioniert die Maus nicht einwandfrei.
• Falls Ihr Computer die Maus nicht erkennt, prüfen Sie die USB-Verbindung
und die USB-Kompatibilität Ihres Betriebssystems (Windows XP/Vista/7
sowie Mac OS 9.0 oder höher).

Drehen Sie das Mausrad , um eine

sicht zu bewegen. Halten Sie das
Mausrad gedrückt und bewegen Sie
gleichzeitig die Maus für die
Auto-Scroll-Funktion.
