Thank you for buying your new Remington® product. Please read these

instructions carefully and keep them safe. Remove all packaging before use.

F IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and

persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of

experience and knowledge if they have been supervised/instructed and

understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they

are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and cable out of reach

of children under 8 years.

2. Warning - for additional protection the installation of a residual current

device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is

advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask an electrician

for advice*.

3. For UK household use only. Currently, the ﬁtting in a bathroom of an

electrical socket suitable or capable of operating the dryer/straightener is

not permitted (see BS7671).

4. Always ensure the voltage to be used corresponds to the voltage stated on

the unit before plugging the appliance into the mains socket.

5. Warning: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers or basins or

other vessels containing water.

6. When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since

the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is

switched oﬀ.

7. Do not wrap the cord around the unit. Check the cord regularly for any sign

of damage.

8. If the supply cord of this unit becomes damaged, discontinue use

immediately and return the appliance to your nearest authorised

Remington® service dealer for repair or replacement in order to avoid a

hazard.

F INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Before use, ensure the hair is clean, dry and tangle-free.

• Section the hair prior to styling. Style the lower layers ﬁrst.

• Plug the product into the mains power supply.

• Press and hold the on button to switch on.

• Select the desired temperature.

• Start styling on lower temperatures ﬁrst. To adjust the temperature use the

+/- temperature controls on the side of the product. ‘+’ increases the

temperature ‘- ‘decreases the temperature.

, Caution: the hottest temperatures should only be used by experienced

stylers.

• The selected temperature will ﬂash continuously until the desired

temperature is reached.

• Use the heat resistant glove to avoid any accidental burns.

• Working on one section at a time, hold the handle with the barrel facing

down and wrap a section of hair around the heated barrel.

• Wait about 10 seconds for the curl to form, then unwind the hair to release

the curl.

• Repeat this process around the head to create as many curls as desired.

, TIP: Let the curls cool before further styling or brushing, this will help to

prolong the curls.

• After use, press and hold the oﬀ button to turn oﬀ then unplug the

appliance.

• To activate, press and hold ‘+’ for 2 seconds, this automatically selects the

temperature at 185°C for healthier styling. PRO+ will appear on the digital

display.

C CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Unplug the appliance and allow to cool.

• Wipe all surfaces with a damp cloth.

• Don’t use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.

F BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN

1 Dit apparaat mag alleen gebruikt worden door kinderen van 8 jaar en ouder

en personen met mindere fysieke, zintuiglijke of mentale vaardigheden of

met een gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, indien zij onder toezicht staan/

instructies hebben ontvangen en de gevaren begrijpen die van toepassing

zijn. Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat spelen. Schoonmaak en

onderhoud mag niet door kinderen uitgevoerd worden tenzij ze ouder dan 8

jaar zijn en onder toezicht staan. Houd het apparaat en het snoer buiten het

bereik van kinderen onder de 8 jaar.

2 Waarschuwing - voor aanvullende veiligheid wordt de installatie van een

aardlekschakelaar (ALS) met een nominale lekstroom die niet groter is dan

30mA geadviseerd. Raadpleeg uw installateur.

3 Zorg er altijd voor dat het voltage dat u gebruikt overeenkomt met het

voltage dat op het apparaat staat vermeld, voordat u de stekker van het

F INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD IMPORTANTES

1 Los niños mayores de 8 años y personas sin el conocimiento o la experiencia

• Comience a moldear el pelo a temperaturas bajas. Para ajustar la

temperatura utilice los controles de temperatura «+» y «-» situados en los

laterales del producto. La temperatura aumenta al pulsar «+» y disminuye al

pulsar «-».

• La temperatura seleccionada parpadeará continuamente hasta que se

alcance la temperatura idónea.

• Utilice el guante resistente al calor para evitar quemaduras accidentales.

• Trabajando sobre una sola sección a la vez, sujete el mango con el barril

encarado hacia abajo y enrolle un mechón alrededor del barril caliente.

• Espere unos diez segundos hasta que se forme el rizo.

• Desenrolle el pelo y suelte el rizo.

• Repita el proceso en toda la cabeza para crear cuantos rizos desee.

, Consejo: deje que los rizos se enfríen antes de peinar o cepillar; esto ayudará

a que duren más.

• Después de su uso, mantenga presionado el botón de apagado para apagar

el aparato y, a continuación, desenchúfelo.
