OWNER’S MANUAL
125 HRD SM-SE
Les modifications ou transformations au cours de la période de garantie dégagent le constructeur de toute responsabilité et annulent
la garantie.
Il est conseillé de ranger la clef de secours en un endroit sûr et
à portée de main.
Après les premiers 1.000 km, la première révision doit être faite.
Après les premiers 500km / la première sortie tout terrain veiller à contrôler la boulonnerie.
Le ravitaillement doit être effectué avec le moteur éteint.
NE PAS UTILISER DE BIOÉTHANOL E15-E100.
Danger dÊintoxication.
Danger pour lÊenvironnement.
Le système dÊéchappement est très chaud pendant et après lÊutilisation du véhicule. Attendre que lÊéchappement ait refroidi avant toute
intervention dÊentretien.
- Un mauvais niveau dÊhuile peut endommager votre moteur.
- Ne pas utiliser votre moto si le niveau est en dessous du minimum.
- LÊhuile chaude peut provoquer des graves brûlures !
- Éliminer lÊhuile usagée conformément aux réglementations locales.
- Cette opération suppose des connaissances en mécanique. Sherco vous recommande de vous rapprocher de votre concessionnaire pour
effectuer cet entretien.
- Un mauvais niveau dÊhuile peut endommager votre moteur.
- Ne pas utiliser votre moto si le niveau est en dessous du minimum.
Ne jamais dévisser le bouchon du radiateur avec le moteur chaud. Risque de brûlures !
Porter un équipement de protection approprié et des gants.
Éviter tout contact de la peau, des yeux ou des vêtements avec le liquide de refroidissement.
En cas de contact :
- avec les yeux, rincer immédiatement avec de lÊeau et consulter un médecin ;
- avec la peau, laver immédiatement à lÊeau et au savon les parties affectées.
Changer immédiatement les vêtements contaminés par le liquide de refroidissement.
Si le levier devenait trop souple il pourrait y avoir une bulle dÊair dans le circuit, prendre immédiatement contact avec un concessionnaire
SHERCO.
Utiliser le liquide DOT 4 indiqué à la dans le tableau „Lubrifiants et liquides recommandés‰.
Si la pédale devenait trop souple il pourrait y avoir une bulle dÊair
dans le circuit, et donc contactez immédiatement un concessionnaire
SHERCO.
Pour la vidange et le remplacement voir dans le
tableau „Lubrifiants et liquides recommandés‰.

FILTRE À AIR
Pour accéder au filtre, vous devez :
- Enlever la selle ( p.33).
- Enlever couvercle de filtre en dévissant les vi
Le bon fonctionnement du moteur et la longévit
ses composants internes dépendent en partie d
propreté du filtre à air. Veillez à son remplacem
comme spécifié dans le planning de maintena
page ( p.44) , ou plus fréquemment si le véhicul
est utilisé exclusivement en ville, zones poussiér
et tout-terrain.
S’assurer que le filtre soit propre et non obstrué
des corps étrangers. En cas d’encrassement exc
remplacer le filtre à air.
Veillez au bon positionnement du filtre lors de
remontage: le coin tronqué doit être placé v
l’arrière-gauche de la moto .
Contrôler le filtre à air chaque fois que le
véhicule est utilisé en tout terrain.

Après chaque intervention, contrôlez quÊà lÊintérieur du
filtre il nÊy ait aucun objet.
ATTENTION
Si le filtre est endommagé, remplacez le immédiatement.

CONTRÔLES ET ENTRETIEN
BOUGIE
Maintenir la bougie en bon état contribue à une
diminution de consommation et à un fonctionnement
optimal du moteur.
Pour ce contrôle, il suffit d’enlever l’antiparasite
et de dévisser la bougie à l’aide de la clé fournie.
Nettoyer soigneusement les électrodes en utilisant
une brosse métallique. Souffler la bougie à l’air
comprimé pour éviter que les résidus éventuels
puissent pénétrer dans le moteur.
Contrôler avec un jeu de cale l’écartement de
l’électrode qui doit se situer entre 0,6 - 0,7 mm, dans
le cas ou cela ne correspondrait pas à cette valeur il
est nécessaire de corriger doucement l’écartement de
l’électrode.
Vérifiez également que l’isolant ne soit pas craquelé
et que l’électrode ne soit pas corrodée. Dans ce cas
procédez immédiatement au remplacement de la
bougie.
Lubrifier le filetage de la bougie et (moteur à froid),
la visser à la main jusqu’à la butée puis la bloquer
avec la clé.
Ne pas effectuer le contrôle avec le moteur chaud.

Un réglage correct, ne doit pas causer de durcissement ou
dÊirrégularité durant la rotation du guidon.
REMARQUE
PNEUMATIQUES
CONTRÔLE ET REGLAGE DU JEU À LA DIRECTION
Avec des freins mouillés lÊeffet de freinage est réduit. Actionner les freins avec prudence afin de leur permettre de sécher.
Pousser vers lÊarrière la protection des commandes au guidon, pour que lÊeau sÊévapore.
Lorsque la moto sera complètement sèche et refroidie, lubrifier tous les points coulissants et de travail.
Manipulez tous les composants en plastique et peints avec des détergents ou produits non agressifs et spécifique aux soins du véhicule.

Tampering with identification numbers is severely punished by
the law.
It is advisable to store the spare key in a safe place that is readily
available.
After the first 1.000 km, the first service must be performed.
After the first 500kms or the first off-road trip, be sure to check all the bolts.
Refueling must be done with the engine off.
DO NOT USE ETHANOL-BASED FUEL E15-E100.

- The wrong oil level can damage your engine.
- Do not use your motorbike if the level is below the minimum.
- Hot oil can cause severe burns!
- Dispose of the used oil in accordance with local regulations.
- This operation requires mechanical knowledge. Sherco recommends that you contact your dealer to carry out this maintenance.

Never remove the radiator cap when the engine is warm. Risk of burns!
Wear protective equipment and appropriate gloves.

Change clothes immediately if they become contaminated by the coolant.
If the coolant is ingested, contact a doctor immediately.
If the lever becomes too soft there could be an air bubble in the system, if this is the case, immediately contact a SHERCO dealer.
Use the DOT 4 fluid listed on in the „Recommended Lubricants and Fluids‰ table.

AIR FILTER
To access the air filter, you must:
- Remove the seat ( p.94).
- Remove the filter cover by removing the screw

it as specified in the maintenance schedule on p
(p102), or more often if the vehicle is us

CHECKS AND MAINTENANCE
SPARK PLUG
Keeping the spark plug in good condition helps to
decrease fuel consumption and helps optimize the
engine performance.
For this check, simply remove the spark plug cap
and remove the spark plug using the provided tool.
Thoroughly clean the electrodes using a wire brush.
Blow the spark plug off with compressed air to avoid
the possibility of any residue penetrating the engine.
Check the spark plug gap.
The gap between the electrodes must be between
0.6 - 0.7 mm, in case this does not correspond to
this value it is necessary to gently correct the spacing
of electrodes.
Also check that the insulation is not cracked and that
the electrodes are not corroded. If this is the case
immediately replace the spark plug.
Lubricate the threads of the spark plug and ( with
the motor cold ), screw it by hand until it stops then
tighten it with the provided tool.
Do not perform this check with the engine hot.

The correct setting must not cause any irregularity durin
rotation of the handlebars.
NOTE
TIRES
Only mount tires that are approved by SHERCO.
Any other tire can have a negative impact on the motorcycle’s handling.
• To ensure your safety, damaged tires must be replaced immediately.
• Smooth tires have a negative impact on the handling of the motorcycle, in particular o
and off-road riding.
• Insufficient pressure causes abnormal wear and overheating of the tire.
• It is recommended that tires of the same profile be installed on both the front and rear
• Only check the pressure when the tires are cold.
• Make sure the tire pressure is maintained within the specified limits. Mentioned ( p.68
CHECKING AND ADJUSTMENT OF THE STEERING FREE PLAY
With wet brakes the braking effect is reduced. Activate the brakes carefully to allow them to dry.
Push the handlebar switch protective cover backwards so that the water evaporates.
When the motorcycle is completely dry and cool, lubricate all moving and working points.
Clean all the plastic and painted components with detergents or non-aggressive products specifically designed for car care.
