FEATURES
READING LAMP
The lectern is equipped with a bright, adjustable 6-LED reading lamp that aluminates the entire reading surface. To use the reading
lamp located on the panel in front of the reading surface, the main power on the electronics panel must be turned on. The knob
located to the right pf the reading lamp turns it on and controls the brightness. Turn it clock-wise to make it brighter and counter-
clockwise to dim or turn off completely.
CLOCK / TIMER
The jumbo LCD display has backlighting for easy reading for the presenter to be able to track time and length of presentation.
XLR OUTPUT
At the base of the lectern there is an XLR output jack that may be used to connect the lectern to the house PA system, recording
device, or any other audio device with a MIC LEVEL input. With this connection the person speaking into the electret microphone or
any other microphone plugged into the control panel, including the wireless microphone, can also be heard through the house
system. Also, audio signals from any device connected to the "AUXILIARY" input will be heard through the house system, such as
the audio portion of a computer presentation, CD player or MP3 device for example.
The XLR output may also be modified to deliver a line-level output if needed. Contact Amplivox Customer Service for further details.
GOOSENECK CONDENSER MICROPHONE
The electret condenser microphone is designed for extra sensitivity to easily pick up the presenter's voice. Plug the microphone into
the XLR cable that is in the "Shock Mount" base on the reading surface. You can pull out the connector cable for easier attachment
of the microphone. Insert the microphone back into the base until it is firmly supported.
Adjust positioning as needed. The XLR cable for the microphone is internally connected on the same circuit as the "CONDENSER"
jack located on the control panel in the recess. Adjust microphone level using the main volume control (H).
POWER STRIP
There is a 6-outlet power strip located inside the recess that is connected to the power input jack at the base of the lectern. Connect
lectern to power outlet using the 16' IEC power cord. The power strip can be used to power additional electronics.
PORTABILITY
Two locking tilt-n-turn heavy duty industrial wheels (SW3250) and built-in handles for easy portability.
