contents.

• A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or

tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this

product, but if one must be used:

− Arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop

where it can be tripped over or pulled.

than the other blade) to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This is a safety

feature. The plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable

contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless you can fully

insert the plug into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug. Do not attempt to defeat the

1. Make sure all parts are correctly in place. Connect appliance to the Outlet.

2. Raise can opener lever in the upright position. Insert Can so that the lower edge of the can

lip rests on top of the drive wheel. Be certain that the cutting edge is on the inside of the

can lip.

3. Push can opener lever down firmly and hold until the lid is automatically pierced, and the

cutting rotation begins.

:: It is not necessary to hold the can opener lever down during the rotation.

4. Once the can has been opened, the rotation will automatically stop. The can will remain in

position until the lever is raised.

5. To release the can, grasp the can firmly in one hand and raise the lever with the other

hand. The magnetic lid holder will retain the lid.

: : DENTED CANS: If the can you are trying to open is dented, please guide it through the

cutter manually until the damaged areas have passed. Dents can cause your can opener to

stall. JAMMED CANS: To open a can that has become jammed, raise the can opener lever to

release the can. Begin the cutting action again in a new place on the can lip.

2. Place the heel of the knife into the guide slot located on the back of your Can Opener.

Lightly draw the blade towards you applying a slight downward pressure.

3. Repeat this 5 times to ensure a sharp cut.

1. Lift piercing lever to vertical position. Hold the can opener and ease cutting assembly out

of case. Wash with warm soapy water carefully as blade is sharp. Carefully rinse and dry.

2. To replace blade assembly, hold piercing lever in vertical position and insert blade

assembly into keyhole Return lever to its down position. .

NOTE: Blade assembly may collect food or paper particles from labels. It is important to

clean this often.
