Combined Weather Dial
Features
Measurement range: Temperature-40 to 60 C; -40 to 140 F. Humidity0-100% RH. 
Pressure726-789 mmHg; 968-1052 hPa.
Accuracy: +/- 1°C;+/-5%RH.
Location
Position your combined weather dial in an area where it can remain undisturbed. Do not
position in direct sunlight and avoid sources of heat and humidity that are not representative
of the area you are looking to measure, such as a kettle.
Setting Up Your Weather Dial
- Establish the current pressure for your location by visiting www.bbc.co.uk/weather.
- Adjust the needle via the turn screw on the back of the dial to set the current barometric
pressure. Do not over-tighten the barometer movement as this can damage the mechanism.
- Hang the weather dial in your desired location using the keyhole fitting on the back and
leave for a few days to acclimatise.
Reading Your Weather Dial
- Increasing pressure (movement of the needle in a clockwise direction) suggests improving
weather.Decreasing pressure (movement of the needle in an anti-clockwise direction)
suggests deteriorating weather.Steady pressure, typical of extended periods of fine
weather, suggests more of the same conditions.
- Use the outer thermometer scale to read current air temperature in C andthe inner scale
for F.
- Use the hygrometer scale to read current humidity in %RH.
Using The Pressure Pointer
The settable pointer, controlled by the knob in the centre of the dial face, can be used to
show changes in atmospheric pressure. To do this, move your settable pointer until it rests
exactly over the internal needle. The next time you observe your dial, any change in
pressure will be highlighted by looking at the difference in position of the two pointers.
Welcome to your ClimeMET weather dial, designed by a team of outdoor
enthusiasts in rural Suffolk. Let us help you make the most of the great outdoors.
Our ClimeMET Combined Weather Dial is designed to provide temperature, humidity
and pressure readings in one place, perfect for those who love being outside. For
optimum results, it is necessary to calibrate the barometer part of the weather dial to
your local barometric pressure before use. The barometer is designed to give
accurate air pressure readings from sea level to an altitude of 7000 feet.
Engraved dials and all mount boards are suitable for indoor use only. Weather dials requiring
a battery can only be used outdoors with a battery cover and if sheltered.
