Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and then save
it for future reference. We reserve theright for any errors in text or images and any
necessary changes made to technicaldata. In theevent of technical problems or other

Safety
• This product generates laser radiation of laser class 3R in accordance with IEC
60825-1. Laserbeams always pose arisk of blinding people andpets.
• On-product warning labels must be kept legible.
• Never point thelaser beam towards people or animals and never look directly into
thebeam. Evenlow intensity lasers can cause permanent eye damage.
• If theproduct is mounted onto atripod, make sure that it is fastened securely, that
thetripod is fully open, locked and standing steadily on afirm surface.
• Do not use or store theproduct in temperatures other than those specified in
thespecifications below (−10 to 50 °C, 14 to 122 °F).
• Do not subject theproduct to extreme changes in temperature. Letit acclimatise
to theambient temperature before switching iton.
• This product contains no parts that you can repair yourself. Thisproduct must not
be dismantled, opened or modified in anyway.
• Theproduct must only be repaired by qualified service technicians using original
spareparts.
• Theproduct is only intended for normal domestic use and only in themanner
described in this instruction manual.
• Thelaser viewing glasses must not be used as safety glasses. Thelaser viewing
glasses improve thevisibility of thelaser beam but do not protect eyes from laser
radiation.
• Do not position theproduct in such away that thelaser beam can be reflected in
mirrors or other reflective surfaces.
• Laser viewing glasses must not be used as normal sunglasses or in street traffic.
• Laser viewing glasses do not provide complete UV protection and reduce colour
perception.
• Never point thelaser beam at reflective material.
• This product is not atoy. Neverlet children play with theproduct. Thereis always
arisk that someone will be inadvertently blinded.
• Never position theproduct in such away that thelaser beam projects at eye level
and could possibly shine into someone’seyes.
• Never leave theproduct switched on unattended. Always switch it off afteruse.
Thereis always arisk that someone could be blinded by thelaserbeam.

Laser classication
Therotatary laser emits avisible laser beam and is classed as aClass 3R laser in
accordancewith: IEC60825-1: 2014Safety of laser products.
LASER RADIATION
AVOID DIRECT EYE EXPOSURE.
CLASS 3R LASER PRODUCT.
Caution – Use of controls or adjustments or performance of proceduresother than
those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure (oralternatively,
equivalent appropriate warnings).
• Do not stare into thelaser beam or direct it towards other people or animals.
Riskof serious damage toeyes.
• Never let thelaser beam come close to eyes, even exposure to eyelids could
cause eye damage.
• Donot look directly into thebeam with optical aids such as binoculars or Caution:
telescopes. Riskof serious damage toeyes.
• Make sure not to remove or damage thesafety symbols and warnings found on
therotarylaser.
• Never try to open thehousing, repair or modify therotary laser in anyway.
• Only use accessories that are recommended by themanufacturer or retailer.
• Never use therotary laser where explosive substances are used or stored.
• Do not use therotary laser on or near highly reflective surfaces since thelaser
beam can be reflected back into your own or someone else’seyes.
• Theinstruction manual must always accompany therotarylaser. Anyone intending
to use thelaser must first read theentire instruction manual.

Battery holder
1. Insert 4×C/LR14, 1.5V batteries (sold
separately). Referto themarkings in
thebattery holder to ensure correct
polarity. Nevermix old and new
batteries. Nevermix rechargeable and
non-rechargeable batteries.
2. Insert thebattery holder into thelaser
level making sure that thecontacts line
up correctly (thebattery holder only fits
on in one way).
3. Tighten thelock nut (16).
Remote control
1. Open thebattery compartment on theback of theremote control by sliding thecover
in thedirection of thearrow and insert 2×AAA/LR03 batteries (sold separately).
Referto themarkings in thebattery compartment to ensure correct polarity.
2. Refit thebatterycover.
Laser receiver
1. Release thebattery compartment cover
catch and remove thecover.
2. Insert 1×6LR61, 9V battery (sold
separately). Referto themarkings in
thebattery compartment to ensure
correct polarity.
3. Refit thebatterycover.

Operating instructions
Thelaser can be placed/mounted
horizontally or vertically and when
in thehorizontal position projects
ahorizontal laser line plus plumb dots
upwards and downwards.
In thevertical position it projects avertical
laser line plus horizontal laserdots.
Thelaser level is self-levelling up to 5°.
Note: Ifthetemperature where thelaser level is stored differs greatly from
thetemperature at which thelevel is to be used, thelevel should be allowed to
acclimatise to theambient temperature before it isused.
Self-levelling
1. Theself-levelling feature is automatically activated when thelevel is switchedon.
Forthelevelling function, one laser dot is aimed to theside and one upwards.
Whenthelaser level has levelled itself thelaser will begin to rotate.
2. If thelaser level leans more than ±5° it will not start to rotate. Ifthis happens, switch
thelaser level off, level it as best you can by hand and then switch it back onagain.

Modes
Automatic or manual levelling
When it is switched on thelaser level automatically enters automatic levellingmode.
Press [ ] (21) so that thegreen LED comes on to put thelaser level into manual
levellingmode. Thisallows you orientate thelaser level at different angles, such as on
slopes.
Line projection
Press [ ] (26) repeatedly to select thebeam spreadangle. Choose between 10, 45,
90 and 180°.
Changing the rotation speed
Press [ ] (27) repeatedly to limit therotation speed of thelaser. Choose between
0,60, 120, 300 and 600rpm.
Out of level warning
TheOut of Level Warning feature is automatically deactivated when thelevel is
switchedon.
Adeactivated out of level warning feature meansthat:
• Thelaser level is more tolerant of knocks than when thefeature is activated.
• Thelaser level switches off if it is moved out of position or subjected to aheavy
blow orjolt.
• Thelaser level automatically switches itself back on after having been knocked out
of level by aheavyshock.
This feature can be used when you work relatively close to theinstrument and are able
to notice that it has been knocked out ofline.
Anactivated out of level warning feature (press [ ] (28) so that theLED on
thebutton blinks to activate thefeature) meansthat:
• Thelaser level is less tolerant of knocks than when thefeature is deactivated.
• Thelaser level switches off if moved out of position or subjected to ablow orjolt.
• Thelaser level will not automatically switch itself back on after having been
knocked out of level by ablow orjolt.
• TheLED on thebutton will flash quickly to indicatethis.
This feature is useful for when you are working relatively far away from theinstrument
and need to be alerted if it has been knocked out of position.
Note: TheManual Levelling and Out of Level features cannot both be used at
thesametime.

• Använd endast tillbehör som rekommenderats av tillverkaren eller försäljningsstället.
• Använd aldrig rotationslasern imiljöer där explosiva ämnen används eller förvaras.
• Använd inte rotationslasern på eller nära högreflekterande ytor, laserstrålen kan
reflekteras in idina eller andrasögon.
• Bruksanvisning ska alltid medfölja lasern, alla som använder den ska läsa igenom
hela bruksanvisningen innan arbetet påbörjas.
