1 Intended use
Wireless remote control units are only approved for use with devices and systems where a
functional problem in the transmitter or receiver does not result in a hazard for people, animals or
property hazard or if this risk is covered by other safety equipment. The user must be informed that
the wireless remote control of door systems with a risk of accidents is only permissible, if at all,
with direct eye contact to the door system and when the motion range must be free of people,
animals and objects. Store the hand-held transmitter so that unwanted activation, e.g. by children
or animals, is impossible. The wireless remote control units in use work on generally-approved
frequencies (ISM bands). The operator of such wireless remote control units is not protected from
faults caused by other wireless systems or devices (e.g., wireless systems being operated in the
same frequency range such as baby phones, intercoms, etc.).
Any use other than the intended use shall be considered improper use for which the manufacturer
is not liable. The fitter, electrician or operating organisation bears the risk and the liability here.
2 Functional description

"Unsymmetrical" coding must be set in transmitters which have a coding
switch!

DIP1 "OFF“ – Linear code
The coding switch provides the option to set 1024 different safety codes. At the
same time, you can also set several transmitters with the same code to control the
same receiver with all transmitters. If you leave all switches on "ON" or "OFF" at the
coding switch, then the sender works with one of 262,000 possible codes that are
sequentially programmed at the factory. In this case, the ceiling pull switch transmits a
coding that is equivalent to button 1 at the hand transmitter.

Function KeeLoq / change code
The transmitter works in accordance with the state of the art KeeLoq process. A new
code is calculated with each actuation. During normal use (garage door, etc.) it takes
more than 20 years before a code is repeated! Teach the transmitter in accordance
with the receiver instructions. The receiver checks the radio signal before the output
switches and it controls your unit. To do that, keep the transmit key pressed for at least
2 seconds. If the battery is charged, then the LED at the transmitter is illuminated
during this time.

Illuminated during actuation, flashing alternatively during initialization.
Green - linear code is transmitted
Red - Keeloq code is transmitted
The respective LED flashes in transmission mode if the battery charge is weak.
The initialization is performed during the switch-over of the DIP1 coding switch , or
during battery change. The radio command is only provided during the next actuation
of the transmission switch.

Must be aligned at full length.
3 Range
Typical ranges are:
50 m in open space.
The range achieved at the usage location depends on the receiver and transmitter
positions as well as the antenna installation of the receiver.
