Intended Use
The Junction Box Transmitter may only be used
to operate Easywave radio receivers.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for any dam-
age caused by improper or non-intended use.
Safety Advice
Before using the device, carefully read
through the operating instructions
Caution! Electrical installation may only be
carried out by a qualied electrician!
In the electric power supply circuit to the ush-
mounted transmitter is required a suitable, eas-
ily accessible disconnecting device (e.g. auto-
matic circuit breaker).
Control unobserved never moving equipment or
electric heaters.
Note also the operating instructions of the radio
receiver.
Have faulty radio controls checked by the
manufacturer!
Do not make any unauthorized alterations or
modications to the transmitter!
Function
With the ush-mounted transmitter RTS39, the
functionality of existing switches or buttons can
be extended by a radio interface.
If a voltage is present at a switch or button, the
transmitter transmits the corresponding Easy-
wave code (A/B) to an Easywave receiver, which
then switches another device.
Caution: The connection of push-buttons is rec-
ommended only for modes with 2-button-opera-
tion!
Start-Up
1. Disconnect the electrical circuit and mount
the transmitter into a standard junction box.
Attention! Make sure there is no inter-fer-
ence with the wireless connection. Do not
mount the device in a distribution box, in met-
al casings, in direct proximity to large metal
objects, on the oor or close to it.
2. If you want to connect a switch, put the at-
tached jumper between the L and F terminals.
Factory, the transmitter is supplied to the
push-button operation (jumper not plugged).
3. Connect the power supply wires and switches
or buttons in a voltage-free state as shown in
the gures 1-3).
4. Put the lid on the junction box. Then turn o󰀨
the power supply again. Memorize the trans-
mission code in the receivers. Please read
the operating instructions supplied with the
receivers.
If the switch / button now pressed, the transmit-
ter transmits the appropriate control command to
the receiver.

Programming transmitter
The RTS39 is programmed into the Easywave re-
ceiver by sending the desired transmission code
(A1 / A2 / B1 / B2).
To do this, press a connected push-button or
switch during the according step of the learning
procedure.
For more information about the learning process,
read the operating instructions of the respective
receiver.
Remote Learning
The RTS39 has a remote learning function. With
this function a built-in receiver can be brought into
learning mode or delete mode wirelessly.
If a receiver supports this feature, please refer to
its user manual.
Note that connected switching elements must be
open and a push-button must be connected nec-
essarily.
When the connected button is pressed, remote
learning telegrams are transmitted in the remote
learning function.
The jumper is used only for selection of the code
for the remote learning function, according to the
following scheme:
without jumper with jumper
S1 --> code A1
S2 --> code B1
S1 --> code A1
S2 --> code A2
For details on the remote learning function, refer
to the operating instructions of compatible recei-
vers.
