Safety instrucons _________________________________________
Please take me to read these safety precauons carefully before connecng your machine to the power supply. It is
essenal to follow them and the operang instrucons.
- First read this enre operaon manual.
- To avoid damage, only use capsules designed for this system with
this machine.
- Danger of electric shock! Never immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquid.
- Connect only to a properly grounded power point (220-240V~)
protected by:
a) At least a 10A fuse when collect only the coee machine; OR
b) At least a 15A fuse when collect the coffee machine together
with the ESPRESSOTORIA® MILK FROTHER
- To make sure that the appliance is switched off, switch the power
point o and remove the plug from the power point.
- Never clamp or run the power cable over sharp corners or edges.
- Danger of electric shock! Damaged power cables may only be
replaced at the customer service centre.
- Danger of electric shock! Never touch the power
plug/socket/cable or the appliance with damp or wet hands.
- Danger of electric shock! Never unplug by pulling the power cable
out of the power point or machine, always turn o the machine
and power point before removing the power plug.
- If you need an extension cable, make sure it is suitable for your
appliance (3-pole grounded,1.5 mm²conductor cross-secon), and
lay the cable to avoid tripping.
- We recommend connecng the appliance via An FI circuit-breaker.
Consult an electrician or other electrical specialist if in doubt.
- Danger of scalding! Never move the appliance during operaon!
- Never operate the appliance without water.
- Danger of burning! Never touch very hot parts of the appliance
(e.g. brew unit during operations).
- Danger of scalding! Do not touch the steam or water jets.
- Danger of scalding! Do not move the operating lever when the
appliance is sll under pressure making coffee.
- Choose a dry, stable and level support surface for the appliance
not immediately underneath the power point, at least 60cm away
from the washbasin and taps.
- Never place the appliance on ammable/fusible surfaces or
equipment.
- Never place the appliance or power cable on or nearer than 50cm
to hot surfaces or open ames.
- The appliance with power outlet (max 240V 760W) on the right
housing of coee machine, it is only for connect with the
ESPRESSOTORIA® MILK FROTHER for making hot milk or milk froth.
- Always put on the protecon cover when the appliance outlet is
not in use.
- To avoid any electric shock, never insert any other appliances
other than the ESPRESSOTORIA® MILK FROTHER
- WARNING! To avoid spillage on the connector!
- Never cover the appliance during operaon
- Keep children away from the appliance during operaon.
- Only use the appliance in dry rooms.
- Danger of tripping! Do not let the power cable hang down.
- Pull out the power plug and allow the appliance to cool down completely before
cleaning and or maintenance.
- To prevent frost damage, do not store the appliance at temperatures below 5
(e.g.in caravans).
- To prevent damage, never use replacement parts or accessories not recommended
by the manufacturer.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have
been given supervision or instrucon concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8
and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less
than 8 years.
- Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilies or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instrucon concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applicaons such as:
- sta kitchen areas in shops, oces and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residenal type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments;
- Do not use the appliance in case of:
- faulty operaon
- damaged power cable
- aer falling or other damage
- In such case the appliance must be checked and repaired by an authorized customer
service centre in other to avoid hazard.
- Always pull out the power plug, in accordance with these safety instrucons,
before:
- Relocang the appliance.
- Cleaning or maintenance.
- Long periods of disuse.
- Clean the water tank, drip try, perforated cover and capsule container with tepid
water and household detergent. Never clean them in the dishwasher.
- Danger of scalding! The heang element surface is subject to residual heat aer
use.
- Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is le unaended and before
assembling, disassembling or cleaning
- Switch o the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or
approaching parts that move in use.
Intended ulizaon
The ESPRESSOTORIA® SYSTEM PICCOLO automac capsule machine is
designed only to make espresso and coee.

This ESPRESSOTORIA® SYSTEM PICCOLO Automac
coee capsule machine is a first-class product,
manufactured with the greatest care. If you look aer it
properly it will reward you with many years of good
service.
Before using your new machine, please read this
operang manual carefully, keep it safe and pass it on
to the next user. For further informaon please contact
the service and sales center.
Aer unpacking, please check that the following parts are included:
1.Before using for the rst me 2.Installaon / Power connecon
Cauon
●Check that your power supply voltage is the same
as marked on the machine rang plate (220-240V)
●Destroy all the plasc bags to prevent danger to
children!
Thoroughly rinse out the water tank with hot
water before using for the rst me. Clean the
coee capsule machine using a damp cloth only
(see 11. Cleaning the appliance)
Cauon
●Danger of tripping! Do not let the power cable hang down.
●Danger of electric shock! Never clamp or run the power
cable over sharp corners or edges or hot surfaces.
●To make sure that the machine is switched o, remove the
plug from the power point.
●Danger of scalding: beware of hot water.
●Do not operate the machine with an empty water tank.
●Always pull out the power plug before cleaning the
machine.
The machine locaon must meet the following requirements:
●Place the machine on a dry, stable and level surface, not directly
under the power point. Only use the machine in a dry room.
●Never place the machine or power cable on or nearer than 50cm
to hot surfaces or open ames.
●Never place the machine nearer than 60cm from the wash basin.
●If you need an extension cable, make sure it is suitable for your
machine (3-pole grounded, 1.5mm conductor cross-secon). ²
●Remove the protecve foil from the perforated drip tray cover
and insert it in the drip tray.
Note
Before using for the rst me the internal piping
must be ushed out (for details see: 9. Flushing
machine and internal piping).
Note
●There can be remaining water in the tank from the
funcon tesng before leaving the factory.
●Coee capsules are not included!
