Things to consider:

• Other wireless equipment using thesame frequency band can reduce

thetransmissionrange.

• Therange of all wireless equipment depends on thetype of obstacles located

between thetransmitter and thereceiver (e.g. aconcrete wall will interfere with

thesignal more than aplasterboard wall).

If you experience problems, try thefollowing:

• Turn off any other existing wireless equipment to check whether this is thecause

of theproblem.

• Move any other existing wireless equipment. Shorten thedistance between

thesending and receiving devices and reduce thenumber of obstacles (walls,

furniture,etc.) betweenthem.

Safety

• Thespeaker may be used by children aged 8 or over provided they have been

instructed in thesafe use of theproduct and that they understand thehazards and

risks involved. Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children aged 8 or

over, but only under adult supervision. Keepthespeaker and its mains lead out of

reach of children under theage of 8.

• Thespeaker may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capability, lack of experience or knowledge which could jeopardise their safety,

provided they have been instructed in thesafe use of theproduct and understand

thehazards involved. Neverlet children play with thespeaker.

• Thespeaker should not be taken apart or modiﬁed. Nevertry to open thecasing

of thespeaker. Thecasing houses dangerous current-carrying non-insulated

components. Contact with these can lead to ﬁre or electricshock.

• Do not cover thespeaker. Adequate ventilation with adistance of at least 5cm

between ventilation ports and thesurrounding area is necessary to prevent

thespeaker from overheating.

• Thespeaker must only be connected to a100–240V, 50/60 Hz wall socket.

• Make sure that thewall socket to which themains adaptor is connected is easily

accessible, since this is theonly way to completely disconnect thespeaker from

themains supply.
