Rn1
The Rn1 is specifically designed for applications where
lower pressure and flow are needed. With a record
low power consumption of 20 W, this Energy Star
fan is a perfect choice where there is good sub slab
communication and lower Radon levels.
Rn2 SL
A radon fan doesn’t have to look industrial to be effective!
Our Rn2 SL is engineered specifically for the demands of
radon mitigation applications with aesthetics in mind. This
exterior-mounted fan features a sleek, neutral-colored
housing that is less contrasting to the appearance of many
homes’ exteriors.
Rn3
The Rn3 model is an excellent choice for systems with
elevated radon levels, poor communication, multiple
suction points and/or large sub slab footprint.
Rn2
The Rn2 is the standard for Radon Mitigation.
Ideally tailored performance curve for a vast
majority of your mitigations.
Rn4
Our new Rn4 radon fan is specifically designed for
mitigation systems requiring high suction air performance,
with the built-in flexibility to provide greater air flow rates
at lower suction pressures as well.

From introducing the first inline radon fan to the US in 1983 to developing the first radon-specific
vibration-reducing coupling in 2015, Fantech’s history is marked with iconic industry firsts. For over 40
years, we have been committed to providing high quality products that not only save lives, but make
yours just a little bit easier. Now, we are proud to share our simplified line of radon-specific fan systems
and present two new products that aim to innovate and improve the installation process.
Fantech’s new LDVI™ (Low Durometer Vibration Isolators) couplings
are designed specifically for radon mitigation applications. Our
patent pending LDVI couplings are molded with a more flexible, low
durometer material as compared to standard plumbing couplings,
making installation easier and provide superior vibration isolation.
Completing the collection
As part of our new, simplified line, we are
introducing the Rn4 – a new inline fan that is on the
cutting edge of radon fan technology. The Rn4 is the
first of its kind as an EC high suction radon fan with
a variable speed motor. Now with five innovative
fan systems, the Fantech collection offers a solution
for every installation.
Pioneering a better process
In focusing our efforts on a better product line
for radon, we also created the first radon-specific
LDVI coupling. Designed to be leak-free with low
vibration, our new coupling provides for a quality
installation that reduces noise and proves itself
as a customized, preferred option for the
radon industry.

Eleven high quality Radon fan models that evolved over decades of development with minor graduated
differences. Selecting and stocking the right fan was not simple.
Old Radon Fan Curves
3 Fan substitution/replacement based on pressure capability; pipe/connection sizes vary, and may require size transition couplings.
4 Referenced models are indicated for the Fantech model covering the majority of its application range. If the referenced model is being utilized at
the upper end of its performance capability, the next larger Fantech model might be necessary as a replacement.
