polarized or grounding - type plug. A
polarized plug has two blades with one wider
than the other. A grounding type plug has
two blades and a third grounding prong. The
wide blade or the third prong are provided
for your safety. When the provided plug does
not t into your outlet, consult an electrician
for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked
on or pinched particularly at plugs,
convenience receptacles, and the point
where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories
specied by the manufacturer.
12. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod,
bracket, or table specied by the
manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus.
When a cart is used, use caution when
moving the cart/apparatus combination
to avoid injury from tip-over. Unplug
this apparatus during lightning storms or
when unused for long periods of time.
13. Refer all servicing to qualied service
personnel. Servicing is required when
the apparatus has been damaged in any
way, such as power-supply cord or plug is
damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects
have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus
has been exposed to rain or moisture, does
not operate normally, or has been dropped.

may result in hazardous radiation exposure.

• WARNING: Do not place this unit directly onto furniture surfaces with any type of soft, porous, or
sensitive nish. As with any rubber compound made with oils, the feet could cause marks or staining
where the feet reside. We recommend using a protective barrier such as a cloth or a piece of glass
between the unit and the surface to reduce the risk of damage and/or staining.
• CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or
equivalent type.

1. Adjust switch to the AM or WB/AM/FM
FM position.
2. Turn the Volume dial to turn on the radio
and adjust to the desired volume.
3. Adjust the Tuning dial to tune the radio.

2. Turn the Volume dial to turn on the radio
and adjust to the desired volume.
3. Adjust the Tuning dial to tune one of the
seven indicated weatherband frequencies.

1. Using the included charging cable,
connect one end to the device and the
other to the on the unit.Phone Charger
2. Pull out the .Dynamo Hand Crank
3. Turn the cranking handle at a speed of
approximately 2 turns per second.
4. The device will charge slowly.
Note: To charge an iPhone in an
emergency situation, crank the handle
continuously for 5-10 min.

Playing the AM/FM Radio
1. Adjust the position of the Telescopic FM
Antenna to improve FM radio reception.
An AM antenna is built into the unit. To
improve AM radio reception, adjust the
position of the unit.

Charging a Device
1. Make sure both the radio and the
ashlight are turned to the O position.
2. Pull out the .Dynamo Hand-Crank
3. Turn the cranking handle at a speed of
approximately 2 turns per second.
4. The will indicate charging.Dynamo LED
5. Turning the handle slower than the
recommended speed will result in the
battery not receiving a charge.
NOTE: When using the unit for long
periods of time, it is recommended to
shut o both the ashlight and radio and
recharge the battery to full capacity before
continuing use.
NOTE: To preserve the battery, charge
the unit using the Dynamo Hand-Crank at
least once a month.

1. Plug one end of an AC adapter (not
included) into the unit and the other end
into a standard AC outlet.
NOTE: If you nd the battery does not
hold a charge or is dicult to charge by
cranking, charging with an AC adaptor
(not included) will help recondition the
internal battery.
