D Mobile Phone ConnecǺon F CauǺons
2. Loudspeaker
Safety InstrucǺon
These instrucǺons are intended to ensure that users can use the product
correctly to avoid danger or property loss.
CauǺons: Injury or equipment damage may occur if any oĔhe cauǺons are
neglected. Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
• In the use oĔ he dashcam, you must be in strict compliance with the local
laws and regulaǺons.
• You are recommended to install the dashcam on the locaǺon of rear
mirror to ensure the dashcam can record with the best surveillance view.
DO NOT install the dashcam on the locaǺon that will block the driver’s sight.
• Keep the user manual properly for future reference. See iniǺal
connecǺon of dashcam in user manual.
• Purchase the TF card from legal channel. To ensure safe and
stable data storage, iǺs recommended to use TF card of
Class 10 or above.
• FormaÍ he new TF card first before using the card.
• To protect TF card from damage, shut down the dashcam before
installing and uninstalling TF card.
• IĔ he dashcam is directly connected with the vehicle power
system, you are recommended to power off the dashcam when
the engine is off. Disconnect cigareÍ e lighter to avoid insufficient
voltage and abnormal startup. Reconnect cigareÍ e lighter to
ensure dashcam work normally when you starÍ he car again.
• Operating temperature is from -20 C to 70 C (-4 F to 158 F). To
protecÍ he dashcam, DO NOT use iǺn high temperature, low
temperature, or high-humidity environment. Keep the dashcam
from rain and dust.
• The manual is subjecÍ o update. The funcǺons of dashcam may
vary according to different models.
• The installation height is not greater than 2 m.
Clean the windshield and paste
the electrostaǺc film onto it.
Avoid introducing air bubble.
DO NOT paste the film repeatedly.

•For iOS, you need to go to Wi-Fi
settings of your phone to connect
to the Wi-Fi of dashcam.

Start Up & Shutdown
ConnecÍ he power cord to the car baÍ ery.
Device starts recording automaǺcally once the car starts.
Device powers off when the car stalls.
Recording
Recordings are divided to ordinary video and emergency video.
You can seÍ he video voice on/off via System SeÖ ngs or
Hikdashcam APP.
Paste the device onto the
electrostaǺc film and route
cable to the disater box for
power supply. The device
interfaces should be
installed to the righŐor
easier power cord
connecǺon.
SoluǺonTrouble
The mobile phone
cannot display
recordings.
It may be relevant with the player or system oĔhe
phone. Please connect TF card to your computer and
display the recordings.
Wi-Fi connecǺon
takes a long Ǻme.
It may be caused by the interferrence oĔhe
surrounding Wi-Fi signals. Please use the dashcam in
an environment ofless interferrence.
Shut down unnecessary programs in your phone to
release some resources for HikDashcam app and
reconnect Wi-Fi.

Check whether the vehicle is started and power

Press "RESET" to reboot device.
Restore to defaults: hold the RESET button unǺl the
startup music is heard.
Make sure the power cord is in good condiǺon.
Make sure the power cord is Ǻghtly connected to the
according interfaces.
Make sure thaÍ he dashcam started up successfully.
Check whether the TF card is inserted.
Check the status of TF card, e.g. its format, its lifespan.
Change TF card ifiǺs not well.
Make sure the protecǺve film is peeled off.
Check whether the windshield or the lens of dashcam
is blurred.
Check whether the device is in Wi-Fi mode. Wi-Fi
connecǺon is available for Android phones. Connect
Wi-Fi through System->Wi-Fi (different entries for
different phone models).
Check whether the car charger is Ǻghtly connected.
Check whether the 3M tape is tightly sticked to the
electrostatic film before the installation.
Mobile phone cannot

Make sure HikDashcam app is installed.

*The driving assistance funcǺon oĔhe device only sends alarm or warning to
the driver and cannot replace the driver’s judgement and operaǺon. With the
device, you also should drive carefully to avoid traffic accident or violaǺon.
Pedestrian or object recogniǺon failure or recogniǺon error may occur due to
external factors. DO NOT overly rely on the driving assistance funcǺon.
