IBM Lotus Foundations is a family of small business servers that provide the essential software

required to run any business with up to 500 users.

Enabling companies to focus on their business instead of IT, the Lotus Foundations Server

provides the essential software required to run your business with reliability, security, and

simplicity; an ideal server for businesses with limited budgets and IT resources

Whether you need to set up an oﬃce network, connect branch oﬃces, protect your data,

or provide remote access, e-mail, and collaboration capabilities to your employees, Lotus

Foundations Server can help.

• Run your business on a reliable and security-rich server. An extremely small server footprint

and a Linux-based operating system ensure high reliability, security, and business continuity.

Description

Solid server subsystems

This uniprocessor entry server delivers solid, economical performance by coupling a new Core 2

Duo or quad-core Intel processor at up to 2.66 GHz with high-speed PC2-6400 CL6 ECC DDR2

800 MHz DIMM memory, and SATA storage subsystems.

The IBM Lotus Foundations Server server couples these new processors with advanced

features to produce a system that is an optimal choice for clients with applications that demand

performance today, or for growing businesses that need to accommodate future performance

growth.

The IBM Lotus Foundations Server server uses high-performance chip sets to optimize

throughput from the processors to memory and I/O.
