Instructions on installation.
This product receives the standard HD/SD-SDI input signals and displays
the images on the LCD panel with particular functions which converts
HDMI input signal into SDI and SDI input signal into HDMI. As a high
performance color video monitor, this product is suitable for television
stations or video production houses, where precise production is required.
Please read the following instructions before installing the monitor.
Avoid installing the monitor in the following places.
* Do not install the monitor near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers,
stoves or other apparatus that produce heat
* Do not install the monitor in excessively dusty and humid environments.
* Should any solid object or liquid fall into the monitor, turn the monitor o rst and
then unplug it.
* Do not install the monitor near the source of high frequency or of high
electromagnetic waves and around power lines. This may cause the malfunction and
slow down the performance of the monitor.
* Do not install the monitor in places where extreme environmental changes often occur.
* Do not place the monitor on an unstable cart, stand, or table. It may fall, causing
serious injury to a child or adult and serious damage to the product.
(The monitor should be mounted according to the manufacturers instructions.)
* Do not drop or place heavy objects on the monitor. A strong impact or force may
damage and break the product.
* Do not use the power cord for AC and DC adaptor at the same time. This may cause
the malfunction of the monitor.
* Remove the AC power from the monitor rst when the monitor needs to be connected
for the update or with external devices. Then, connect the cables and turn the monitor
on. If the monitor is connected with external devices when AC power is connected,
it may cause the malfunction of the monitor.
* Unplug the monitor and contact the A/S department when the monitor emits smoke
or unusual smell and sound.
* Do not attempt to repair this monitor yourself, as opening or removing covers may
expose you to dangerous voltages and other hazards. Refer to all service to qualied
service personnel, otherwise the monitor won’t be covered by the warranty.
* Due to an LCD’s panel structure and characteristics of materials in its design,
displaying static images for extended periods may cause image smearing.
(When this happens, leave the monitor running for 1 to 2 hours with the white signal input)

Equipped with tripod studs on every side of the monitor, FM-055F can be attached to ball head
in any direction.
Please use a single battery Adapter when one battery is used.
In order to use two batteries for a longer period of operating time, please use a double
battery Adapter. – a double battery Adapter can be used with only one battery as well .

We strongly advise you to use the DC Adapter provided with
the FM-055F package only.
When connected with power sources other than the provided
one, it may cause serious damages to the product.
The user will be responsible for the damages caused by the
wrong power sources and they will not be covered by the
warranty-repair.

Features
: Switch on the button to turn the monitor on and o the button to turn it o. POWER ON/OFF
Video Attribute : Press and rotate the knob to adjust the values for Volume, Sharpness, Brightness,
Contrast, Chroma and Phase.
MENU/EXIT : Press the button to activate OSD Menu and press it again to exit the Menu.
INPUT : Press the button to select the preferred input signal.
Function 1~3 : User-preferred functions are saved on F1, F2 and F3. The settings for the functions
are managed under System Menu.
: Insert a 3.5mm phone jack for the audio output. AUDIO OUT
: Used when the rmware needs to be updated. PGM
: Used when the monitor is calibrated and rmware is updated via PC.SERIAL
SDI Input Port : Used for the input signal of HD/SD-SDI.
: Used for the output of HD/SD-SDI input signals. Output can be either the loop out SDI-OUT Port
of HD/SD-SDI or SDI signal converted from HDMI input signal.
HDMI Input Port : Used for the input of HDMI signals.
HDMI-OUT Port : Used for the output of HDMI signal. Output can be either HDMI signal or
HDMI signal converted from input signal of SDI.
DC Power Connector : Used when DC power is supplied. Please make sure you check the rated current
of DC voltage. When used with a DC adaptor, the max voltage is 18V.

The voltage range of battery is from 6.5V to 18V.

Tally : displays 3 dierent colors: Red, Green and Amber.
The monitor is not covered by the warranty for the problems caused during the process of
calibrating and adjusting the gamma and colors done by users. Please make sure you get
enough training and support from specialized engineers before calibrating and adjusting
the gamma and colors.
