IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the
following:
1. Read all instructions thoroughly.
2. Before using the Water Boiler, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the convenience outlet
(230Va.c.).
3. Do not use a two-way socket with another appliance.
4. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced with
the same type and size of a qualied person or bring the unit to the manufacturer or to the nearest
Imarex Authorized Service Center to avoid hazard.
5. Do not allow cord to touch hot surface of the Water Boiler.
6. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the Water Boiler in water.
7. Do not place the Water Boiler near gas stove, electric burner or heated oven.
8. Do not exceed into the maximum capacity if the water boiler is overlled, boiling water may come out
and it may cause injuries.
9. Extreme caution must be exercised when using an appliance containing hot water when boiling.
10. The parts which are easy to touch may become hot; keep them out of the reach of babies and children.
11. Put the Water Boiler on stable surface; keep it away from the edge of counter to avoid accident.
12. Do not use the Water Boiler, if it is empty.
13. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
14. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
15. Do not use this unit other than its intended use.
16. Do not use the Water Boiler for outdoor use.
17. Save this instruction for future reference.
DESCRIPTION OF RTS PA
HOW TO USE
1. Unlock the cover and turn the handle counter-clockwise and pour in water.
2. Pour water up to the water level indicator.
(Do not ll the Water Boiler over the max water level indicator.)
3. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
4. up Switch ON the unit, the heating light indicator light will .
5. When the water is boiling, it will automatically switch to “Keep Warm” green light indicator.
Note: The boil dry protection system of the unit will automatically shut o when the water level is too
low.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Be sure to unplug the unit, discard any remaining water and allow to cool o before cleaning.
2. DISCOLORING OF THE WATER TANK
This is caused by oxidizing of iron content in tap water. It can be removed by using nylon brush and
follow these simple steps:
a. Cut a lemon into four, wrap the lemon in cloth and place inside the unit.
b. Pour water up the full water level indicator. to
c. Boil the water and let the mixture remain inside the unit for about 1 hour.
d. Pour out the water and use a nylon brush to clean the inner par t.
e. To remove the smell of the lemon, boil water again, and dispose the water.
3. Lid is washable with soap and water.
4. Use damp cloth to clean the body. Wipe it dry. Do not use abrasive materials to avoid scratches.
NOTE: ALWAYS CLEAN THE UNIT DAILY AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.
