1. Important information
Before using this device, please read the following safety notes and operang instrucons
completely, and pay careful aenon to them. Please store this user manual with the device, so that
you can refer to it later if needed. If you later give this device to another user, please also give them
this manual.
1.1 Safety notes
Please note that this product is not a child’s toy within the meaning of Direcve 2009/48/EC. If you
let your children use the device, instruct them accordingly and ensure that the device is used only as
intended.
WARNING! This device contains magnets or magnec components. In the human body, magnets
that aract each other or metallic objects can cause severe, or even fatal, injuries. In the event that
magnets are swallowed or inhaled, consult a doctor immediately.
Keep the packaging bags and lm away from babies and small children, as there is a danger of
suocaon!
In order to avoid damage, do not expose the device to heat, e.g. from radiators or from direct
sunlight, and do not expose it to any kind of moisture.
In order to avoid malfuncons, do not operate the device on or near devices that create
magnec elds or electromagnec radiaon, such as for example televisions, loudspeakers,
mobile and cordless telephones, WiFi devices etc.
Do not open the device under any circumstances. It does not contain any serviceable parts. In
the event of malfuncon, contact the service address listed.
1.2 Notes on handling batteries
CAUTION! Risk of explosion if baeries are not replaced properly. Used baeries must only be
disposed of in accordance with the instrucons!
Non-rechargeable baeries must not be recharged. Risk of explosion!
Rechargeable baeries must only be recharged under adult supervision.
Rechargeable baeries must be removed from the device before being recharged.
Always replace all baeries at the same me.
When inserng baeries, always observe the correct polarity! (+ to +, - to -)
Dierent baery types or new and used baeries must not be used together.
Do not mix alkaline and normal baeries (zinc-carbon) and rechargeable baeries.
Keep baeries out of reach of small children. Do not dispose of baeries in re, short-circuit
them or take them apart.
If necessary, clean battery and device contacts before inserng baeries.
The baery connector clips must not be short-circuited.
Do not expose baeries to extreme condions, e.g. radiators or direct sunlight! Increased risk of
leaks!
Remove fully discharged baeries from the device immediately. Increased risk of leaks!
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. In the event of contact with baery uid,
immediately rinse the aected areas with copious amounts of clean water and then immediately
contact a doctor.
Remove baeries from the device when it will not be in use for long periods of me.
Baeries must only be inserted and replaced by adults.
