CAUTIONS

Only use this unit with a potable water source. Do not use with water that is unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate

disinfection.

NOTE: • “Puriﬁed” means water which has been processed through the puriﬁer.

 • “Unpuriﬁed” means water straight from the water faucet.

■ Run water through the unit before use.

• The water purier should be used after running the water for 15 or 16 seconds everyday.

• If not used for more than 2 days, run water for 3 or 4 minutes (18 L).

■ Using Puried Water

• If you want to draw puried water and keep it, pour the water into a clean container and close it tight. Then store it

in a refrigerator. Use the water within 2 days.

• (Changesinthetankenvironmentmaycauseshandotherorganismstodie.) Do not use for sh tanks, etc.

■ The Casing...

• Do not run hot water (35 °C or above) through the purier.

 (Thiswillcauseheatwarping,malfunctionsandthehosetoburst.Thisisdangerous.)

• (Thiswillcauseheatwarpingandmalfunctioning.) Do not place near a gas range.

• Do not use detergent, cleanser, thinner, benzine, alcohol, kerosene, etc.

(Whencleaningandmaintaining,etc.)(Thiswillcausecracksandchangesincolor.)

• (Freezingcandamagetheltercartridge.) Keep the unit from freezing.

Do not connect the hose and outlet pipe into other appliances.

(Such as ice maker, water boilers, etc. Doing so will cause water leaks or malfunctioning.)

If water starts to spurt from the safety valve while the purier is in use, turn off

the water immediately.

The next time you use the purier, open the water faucet gradually to make sure

that no water leaks or access water is from the safety valve.

(Otherwise, leaks or malfunctions of the main unit may result.)

When there is no water leaking from the safety valve but little puriﬁed water is produced,

the cartridge should be changed.
