■Unplug the machine before tting, removing, or cleaning parts.
■Children should not use this machine unsupervised. Do not let the cord hang down
where a child could grab it.
■Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or aer the appliance
malfunctions, is dropped, or has been damaged in any manner.
■To protect against the risk of re, electric shock, or personal injury, do not place the
cord, plug, or unit in water or other liquids.
■Never use attachment that are not supplied with the product.
■Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, spatulas and other
utensils away during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons and/or damage
to the machine.
■Do not use outdoors.
■Never leave the machine on unattended.
■Do not let children play with this machine.
■Only use the machine for its intended domestic use.
■Always make sure everything is thoroughly clean before making ice cream or sorbet.
■Never freeze ice cream that has been fully or partially defrosted.
■Any ice cream or sorbet containing raw ingredients should be consumed within
one week. Ice cream tastes best when fresh.
■Ice cream or sorbet that contains raw or partially cooked eggs should not be given to
young children, pregnant women, the elderly or people who are generally unwell.
■To prevent freezer burn, always ensure that hands are protected when handling the
bowl, especially when rst removed from the freezer.
■If the freezing solution appears to be leaking from the bowl, discontinue use. e
freezing solution is non toxic.
■Do not place the machine on hot surfaces such as stoves, hotplates or near open gas
ames.
■ Switch o the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or
approaching parts that move in use."
■ this appliance is not intended for use by children or the inrm without adequate
supervision and training from the person responsible for their safety.
BEFORE PLUGGING IN
■Make sure your electricity supply is the same as the electrical rating specied on the
underside of the power unit.
■Should the product or the power lead become damaged or malfunction
it is recommended that you do not use the appliance it should be examined /repaired
then tested by a suitably qualied person

ELECTRICAL SAFETY class 2 USING YOUR APPLIANCE
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
1 Remove all of the packaging.
2 Wash the parts: see “cleaning”.
3 8-12 hours in advance, place the freezer bowl into a freezer.
4 Prepare the ice cream or sorbet mix (see recipe ideas). Allow the mix to cool
in the refrigerator
U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
e wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE - NEUTRAL
BROWN - LIVE
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with
the colour markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
e wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter N or coloured BLACK.
e wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter L or coloured RED.
NEITHER CORE should be connected to the earth terminal of a three pin plug marked
with the letter E or coloured GREEN and YELLOW.
With this appliance, if a 13 amp plug is used a 3 amp fuse should be tted. If any other
type of plug is used a 3 amp fuse must be tted either in the plug or at the distribution
board.

1 Fit the power unit into the lid, It will click into place.
2 Fit the paddle into the power unit.

3 Remove the freezer bowl from the freezer.
4 Lower the assembled lid/power unit/paddle onto the freezer bowl and turn
clockwise to lock into position
