Congratulations to the purchase of this Power Dynamics product. Please read this manual thoroughly prior to using the unit in
order to benet fully from all features.
The PDM660 is an very versatile condenser microphone with built-in pop lter. Delivered includes a microphone holder, adapter
screw, 5 meter microphone cable and ABS-case.
WARNING:
- Read the manual prior to using the unit.
- Keep the manual for further reference.
- Keep the original packaging to ensure safe transport of the unit.
- For indoor use only.
- Set the volume of the microphone to a level that doesn’t cause feedback in order to prevent damages to the audio
equipment.
- Keep away from high temperatures, humidity and strong vibrations.
- Also read the manual of the unit to which the microphone will be connected prior to operating it.
CONNECTION OF THE MICROPHONE:
- Plug the XLR-connector into the microphone until it clicks into position. (Make sure that
the microphone is switched OFF when you plug or unplug the lead).
- Push the small switch on the XLR-connector to unplug it from the microphone.

OPERATION:
- The microphone is switched ON and OFF via the switch.
- Set the microphone to the OFF position prior to connecting or disconnecting it from a
mixer or any other audio equipment.
- Connect the microphone with the supplied microphone cable 3-pin XLR plugs to the
XLR microphone input equipped with +48V phantom power of your audio unit (e.g.
mixing console).
- Speak into the microphone at a distance of 2 to 5cm. Reduce or increase this distance
accordingly in order to get a regular, natural sound
- Place the microphone in a way that it doesn’t cause feedback. It is recommended to
position the microphone at the same level or behind the speakers.
- Do not drop the microphone.
- Keep the microphone dry. Avoid extreme temperatures and humidity.
CARE:
Clean the case of the microphone with a dry cloth. Do not use cleaners or solvents.
WARNING!! WATER WILL DAMAGE THE MICROPHONE ELEMENT. THEREFORE THE GRILLE AND THE CAP
MUST BE COMPLETELY DRY BEFORE YOU PUT THEM BACK IN PLACE.
NOTE: To make sure that the unit will function normally, it must be used in rooms with a temperature between 5°C/ °F 41 and
35 95°C/ °F .
Electric products must not be put into household waste. Please bring them to a recycling centre. Ask your local authorities or your
dealer about the way to proceed. The specications are typical. The actual values can slightly change from one unit to the other.
Specications can be changed without prior notice.
Do not attempt to make any repairs yourself. This would invalid your warranty. Do not make any changes to the unit. This would also invalid
your warranty. The warranty is not applicable in case of accidents or damages caused by inappropriate use or disrespect of the warnings
contained in this manual. Power Dynamics cannot be held responsible for personal injuries caused by a disrespect of the safety
recommendations and warnings. This is also applicable to all damages in whatever form.

Hartelijk dank voor de aanschaf van dit Power Dynamics product. Neemt U a.u.b. een paar momenten de tijd om deze
handleiding zorgvuldig te lezen, aangezien wij graag willen dat u onze producten snel en volledig gebruikt.
De PDM660 is een zeer veelzijdig condensatormicrofoon met ingebouwde poplter. Geleverd inclusief een microfoon houder,
schroefdraad adapter, 5 meter microfoonkabel en ABS-case.
WAARSCHUWING:
- Lees altijd eerst de gebruiksaanwijzing voordat u een apparaat gaat gebruiken.
- Bewaar de handleiding zodat elke gebruiker hem eerst kan doorlezen.
- Bewaar de verpakking zodat u indien het apparaat defect is, dit in de originele verpakking kunt opsturen om
beschadigingen te voorkomen.
- Alleen voor gebruik binnenshuis.
- Stel het volume van de microfoon dusdanig in dat deze niet gaat “rondzingen”. Dit kan namelijk de geluidsinstallatie
onherstelbaar beschadigen.
- Stel de microfoon niet bloot aan hoge temperaturen, vocht of sterke trillingen.
- Lees eerst ook de gebruiksaanwijzingen van de apparatuur waarop de microfoon aangesloten wordt voordat u deze
gaat gebruiken.
AANSLUITEN VAN DE MICROFOON:
- Steek de XLR-connector in de microfoon totdat hij vastklikt. (Zorg ervoor dat de microfoon uitgeschakeld is wanneer u
de kabel in- of uit plugt).
- Om de kabel te verwijderen uit de microfoon drukt u het lipje welke op de XLR-connector zit in en trekt u de stekker uit
de microfoon.
- De microfoonhouder is voorzien van een 5/8’’ binnendraad, waardoor hij op elke
standaard microfoon standaard te plaatsen is.
BEDIENING:
- De microfoon kan aan en uitgeschakeld worden met de schakelaar. Zet de microfoon aan
door de schakelaar op “ON” te zetten, en uit door de schakelaar op “OFF” te zetten.
- Zet de microfoon in de stand “OFF” wanneer u deze aansluit op of verwijdert van een
mixer of andere audioapparatuur.
- Houdt een afstand aan van 2 à 5 cm tussen de mond en de microfoon. Vergroot of
verklein de afstand om een evenwichtig, natuurlijk geluid krijgen.
- Zorg ervoor dat u de microfoon dusdanig opstelt dat deze niet gaat rondzingen. Het beste
is de microfoon naast of zelfs achter de luidsprekers te plaatsen.
- Zorg dat u de microfoon niet laat vallen dit kan namelijk de microfoon onherstelbaar
beschadigen.
- Houd de microfoon droog. Vermijd extreme temperaturen en vochtigheid.
ONDERHOUD:
Voor het schoonmaken aan de buitenkant van de microfoon gebruikt u een zachte droge doek.
Gebruik voor het schoonmaken geen schoonmaakmiddel of oplosmiddel
LET OP!! HET ELEMENT IN EEN MICROFOON KAN ABSOLUUT NIET TEGEN WATER,
LAAT DAAROM DE GRILL EERST COMPLEET OPDROGEN ALVORENS U HEM TERUGPLAATST.
OPMERKING: Om zeker te zijn van een correcte werking, dient u dit apparaat in een ruimte te gebruiken waar de temperatuur
tussen de 5°C/ °F en 35°C/ °F ligt. 41 95
Raadpleeg eventueel www.wecycle. en/of www.vrom.nl v.w.b. het afdanken van elektronische apparaten in het kader van de nl
WEEE-regeling. Vele artikelen kunnen worden gerecycled, gooi ze daarom niet bij het huisvuil maar lever ze in bij een gemeentelijk
depot of uw dealer. Lever ook afgedankte batterijen in bij uw gemeentelijk depot of bij de dealer, zie www.stibat.nl
Alle (defecte) artikelen dienen gedurende de garantieperiode altijd retour te worden gezonden in de originele verpakking. Voer zelf geen
reparaties uit aan het toestel; in élk geval vervalt de totale garantie. Ook mag het toestel niet eigenmachtig worden gemodificeerd, ook in dit
geval vervalt de totale garantie. Ook vervalt de garantie bij ongevallen en beschadigingen in élke vorm t.g.v. onoordeelkundig gebruik en
het niet in achtnemen van het gestelde in deze gebruiksaanwijzing. Tevens aanvaardt Power Dynamics geen enkele aansprakelijkheid in
geval van persoonlijke ongelukken als gevolg van het niet naleven van veiligheidsinstructies en waarschuwingen . Dit geldt ook voor
gevolgschade in wélke vorm dan ook.
