Important:

Self-installation instructions and advice are provided for your

Notice: It is important that the user of this product also receive this User Guide. This will give the user guidance

on how to use this product. Please leave the User Guide with the product after installation.

Warning: Docking a tablet in a ModTek Hard Case does not require signicant force. If the hard case does not

line up correctly, it is dicult to dock the tablet onto the USB-C connector. Do NOT force the tablet onto the

connector, simply remove the hard case and verify the alignment before docking again. Damage due to incorrect

docking is not covered by warranty.

1. Pedestal and Mount Compatibly:

This dock supports the AMPS and VESA75 mount hole patterns to attach of

vehicle and desktop mounts.

The back of the dock is where a USB-C 3.1 cable can be plugged in to provide

power and data to the tablet. The cable retention holes are for the included zip

tie to keep the cable in place.

An optional Tilt-Swivel is included with fasteners to enable the dock to attach to

a at surface and tilt up to 15 degrees.

3. Accessing the Dock:

Once the dock is installed it is important to leave approximately 2 inches

(50mm) of a gap to allow a ModTek Hard Case to be properly aligned and

docked.

2. Mounting the Dock:

Using the included M4 fastener pack, attach the ModTek Dock to your selected

mount. The example here shows a ProClip Heavy Duty Pedestal that is not included

with this product.

The included 3 lengths of M4 fastener pack can be used to attach the dock to a variety

of vehicle and desktop mounts. (#100223 Fastener Pack Included)

4. Mount Points:

This ModTek USB-C 3.1 Dock supports a variety of devices when installed in the

ProClip ModTek Hard Case. The two mount points are used to align the tablet with

the USB-C connector to ensure a perfect alignment and ensure the USB-C connection

to the tablet does not create excessive wear.

5. Aligning a Hard Case:

The ModTek Hard Case and USB-C Dock include alignment indicators to show

you where they should line up with each other for perfect engagement to the

mount points. Place your hand on top of the Hard Case and place it onto the

dock so both mount points are engaged before attempting to slide the case

onto the USB-C connector. NOTE: If only one mount point is engaged the

angle will be o when connecting to the USB-C connector and you can damage

it permanently. Damage due to incorrect docking is not covered by warranty.

7. Releasing the Case:

To release the case from the dock, use the quick release dial by turning it

clockwise similar to turning a key. This will release the Hard Case and it will

slide it slightly o the USB-C connector. Note: It is almost impossible to release

the tablet without using the quick release lever and it should not be attempted.

6. Docking onto the USB-C:

Once the Hard Case is aligned by engaging both mount points, smoothly slide the

tablet onto the USB-C connector until you hear an audible click. The audible click

conrms the case is properly docked. Note: Do not force the tablet onto the connector.

If you feel signicant resistance the case is not properly aligned. Remove it and

ensure alignment on both mount points before continuing.

8. Releasing from the Dock:

Switch grip from the quick release dial and place your hand on top of the case.

Continue to slide the case until you see the alignment line and then pull the case

towards you.

Returns

All returns must be made within thirty (30) days of the delivery date and include proof of purchase, a copy of your original order, or invoice. No products shipped hereunder may be returned without ProClip

USA's prior approval. In order to return a product, the buyer must obtain an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization Number). Items returned without a valid RMA number may be rejected. Items

that are open, used, damaged, or returned without all original components may have a restocking fee applied.

Limited Warranty and Liabilities

ProClip warrants that the Products will be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. If any Product should become defective within the warranty

period, ProClip, at its option, will replace it, repair it or refund the purchase price. Repair or replacement parts or Products will be furnished on an exchange basis and will either be new or reconditioned. All

replaced Products shall become the property of ProClip. Warranty service is available to you by delivering the Product during the warranty period to the company it was purchased from or to ProClip at 4915

Voges Rd., Madison, WI 53718 USA and providing proof of purchase, price and date. If shipped to ProClip, the buyer must rst call ProClip at +1 800-296-3212 or e-mail ProClip at returns@proclipusa.com to

obtain a return approval and return number. You will bear all shipping, packaging and insurance costs and all other costs, excluding labor and parts, necessary to eectuate repair, replacement or refund

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT EXTEND TO ANY PRODUCT WHICH HAS BEEN DAMAGED AS A RESULT OF ACCIDENT, MISUSE, ABUSE OR AS A RESULT OF UNAUTHORIZED SERVICE.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES FOR THIS PRODUCT. IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR

PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT SHALL HAVE NO GREATER DURATION THAN 1 YEAR FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. IN THE EVENT THIS PRODUCT BECOMES DEFECTIVE DURING

THE WARRANTY PERIOD, THE PURCHASER'S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY SHALL BE REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OR REFUND AS PROVIDED ABOVE. IN NO EVENT SHALL PROCLIP BE LIABLE FOR

INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROPERTY, ARISING FROM BREACH OF ANY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY. PROCLIP

DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, OTHER THAN THOSE SET FORTH ABOVE. IN NO EVENT WILL PROCLIP BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY

INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING ATTORNEY FEES ARISING OUT OF

THE USE OF OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCTS, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY OTHER PARTY, EVEN IF PROCLIP HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
