NOTE: THE NORMAL FUNCTION OF THE PRODUCT MAY BE DISTURBED BY STRONG
ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE. IF SO, SIMPLY RESET THE PRODUCT BY PULLING
OUT THE MAINS PLUG, PLEASE USE THE PRODUCT IN ANOTHER LOCATION. IF A
TEMPORARY DYSFUNCTION OCCURS, UNPLUG THE MAINS PLUG IF THERE IS NO BACKUP
BATTERY IN THE RADIO, RESET THE TIME.
POWER SUPPLY
PLUG THE AC POWER CORD INTO THE AC HOUSEHOLD MAINS OUTLET. ENSURE THAT THE
SUPPLY VOLTAGE IS AS INDICATED ON THE RATING PLATE ON THE BOTTOM OF THE UNIT.
BATTERY BACKUP
THIS RADIO HAS A BATTERY BACK UP CIRCUIT THAT WILL KEEP THE CORRECT TIME AND
ALARM SETTING IN THE EVENT OF A TEMPORARY POWER INTERRUPTION. INSTALL A
9-VOLT 6F 22 BATTERY (NOT SUPPLIED) INTO THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT LOCATED ON
THE BOTTOM OF THE UNIT.
MOOD LIGHT OPERATION
SLIDE LIGHT ON/OFF SWITCH TO TURN ON THE MOOD LIGHT. SLIDE THIS SWITCH AGAIN
TO TURN OFF THE MOOD LIGHT.
TIME SETTING
1. PRESS AND HOLD THE TIME SET BUTTON.
2. PRESS THE MIN OR HOUR BUTTON TO SET THE CORRECT TIME.
3. RELEASE THE MIN AND HOUR WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED SETTING.
RADIO OPERATION
1. SLIDE THE FUNCTION SWITCH TO “ON” POSITION. SLIDE THE BAND SWITCH TO “AM”
OR “FM” POSITION.
2. TURN THE TUNING KNOB UNTIL THE DESIRED STATION IS RECEIVED.
3. ADJUST THE VOLUME CONTROL TO A COMFORTABLE LISTENING LEVEL.
4. TO TURN OFF THE RADIO, SET THE FUNCTION SWITCH TO THE “OFF” POSITION.
WAKE TO RADIO
1. SLIDE THE FUNCTION SWITCH TO “ON” POSITION.
2. TUNE TO THE DESIRED RADIO STATION AND VOLUME LEVEL.
3. SET THE ALARM TIME. PRESS AND HOLD THE ALARM SET AND AT THE SAME TIME
PRESS MIN OR HOUR BUTTON TO ADJUST THE TIME.
4. SLIDE THE FUNCTION SWITCH TO “AUTO” POSITION.
5. YOU MAY WAKE UP BY RADIO WHEN THE PRE-SET ALARM TIME IS REACHED.
WAKE TO BUZZER ALARM
1. SLIDE THE FUNCTION SWITCH TO “AUTO” POSITION. TURN OFF THE VOLUME
CONTROL UNTIL YOU HEAR A “CLICK” (BUZZER).
2. SET THE ALARM TIME.
3. YOU MAY WAKE UP BY BUZZER WHEN THE PRE-SET ALARM TIME IS REACHED.
TURN OFF THE ALARM
IF YOU WANT TO STOP THE ALARM, PRESS THE ALARM OFF ONCE. THE ALARM INDICATOR
IS ON AND THE ALARM WILL GO OFF AGAIN AFTER 24 HOURS.
IF YOU SLIDE THE FUNCTION SWITCH TO "OFF" POSITION THE ALARM INDICATOR WILL
SWITCH OFF AND THE ALARM WILL NOT RESUME AFTER 24 HOURS.
SNOOZE FUNCTION
WHEN THE ALARM SOUNDS, PRESSING THE SNOOZE BUTTON WILL TEMPORARILY STOP
THE ALARM, AFTER 9 MINUTES THE ALARM WILL GO OFF AGAIN.
SLEEP FUNCTION
1. THIS FUNCTION ENABLES YOU TO GO TO SLEEP WHILE LISTENING TO THE RADIO.
2. SET THE FUNCTION SWITCH TO OFF OR AUTO POSITION.
3. PRESS THE SLEEP BUTTON. THE CLOCK DISPLAY WILL SHOW 59 MINUTES. THE
RADIO TURNS ON AND WILL TURN OFF AUTOMATICALLY AFTER 59 MINUTES. PRESS
THE SLEEP BUTTON AND THE HOUR BUTTON SIMULTANEOUSLY FOR ONE HOUR AND
59 MINUTES SLEEP TIME.
4. TO SELECT A SHORTER DURATION PRESS THE MIN BUTTON WHILE HOLDING THE
SLEEP BUTTON UNTIL THE DESIRED SLEEP DURATION IS DISPLAYED.
5. TO TURN OFF THE RADIO AT ANY TIME DURING THE SLEEP MODE, PRESS THE
SNOOZE BUTTON.
SLEEP TO MUSIC AND WAKE TO RADIO
REPEAT THE STEPS OF "WAKE TO RADIO". PRESS SLEEP TO SET A DESIRED PERIOD OF
RADIO PLAYING BEFORE SLEEP. THE RADIO WILL TURN OFF AUTOMATICALLY AND WILL
TURN ON AGAIN AT THE PRESET WAKE UP TIME.
LED DISPLAY DIMMER FUNCTION
TO ADJUST THE BRIGHTNESS OF THE LED DISPLAY, SIMPLY SLIDE THE DIMMER SWITCH
(HI/LOW) TO “HI” OR “LOW” POSITION.
SAFETY WARNING
THE PRODUCT MUST NOT BE EXPOSED TO DRIPPING OR SPLASHING. THE NORMAL
VENTILATION OF THE PRODUCT MUST NOT BE IMPEDED.

intended to alert the user to the presence of un-insulated “dangerous voltage”

REMARQUE : DE FORTES INTERFERENCES ELECTRIQUES PEUVENT PROVOQUER UN
DYSFONCTIONNEMENT DE CET APPAREIL. DANS CE CAS, PROCEDEZ A UNE
REINITIALISATION DE L’APPAREIL EN DEBRANCHANT LA PRISE SECTEUR. SI LE PROBLEME
PERSISTE, VEUILLEZ DEPLACER L’APPAREIL.
S’IL SE PRODUIT UN DYSFONCTIONNEMENT MOMENTANE, DEBRANCHEZ LA PRISE SECTEUR.
S’IL N’Y A PAS DE PILE DE SAUVEGARDE, REGLEZ L’HEURE A NOUVEAU.
ALIMENTATION
Branchez la fiche du cordon d’alimentation dans une prise secteur. Assurez-vous que la tension locale
corresponde à celle indiquée sur la plaque signalétique située en dessous de l’appareil.
PILE DE SAUVEGARDE
La radio est équipée d’une alimentation par pile pour la sauvegarde de l’heure et du réglage de l’alarme en cas
de panne de courant. Insérez une pile 9 V 6F 22 (non fournie) dans le compartiment pour pile situé en dessous de
l’appareil.
ECLAIRAGE D’AMBIANCE
Placez le commutateur LIGHT ON/OFF en position ON pour allumer l’éclairage d’ambiance. Placez le
commutateur en position OFF pour éteindre l’éclairage d’ambiance.
REGLAGE DE L’HORLOGE
1. Maintenez la touche TIME enfoncée.
2. Appuyez sur les touches MIN et HOUR pour régler les minutes et les heures.
3. Relâchez la touche TIME lorsque le réglage est terminé.
MODE RADIO
1. Placez le commutateur AUTO/OFF/ON en position ON. Placez le commutateur de bande AM/FM dans
l’une des deux positions.
2. Recherchez la station de votre choix à l’aide de la molette TUNING +/-.
3. Réglez le volume à l’aide de la molette VOL.
4. Pour éteindre la radio, placez le commutateur AUTO/OFF/ON en position OFF.
REVEIL AVEC LA RADIO
1. Placez le commutateur AUTO/OFF/ON en position ON.
2. Recherchez la station de votre choix et réglez le volume.
3. Réglez l’heure du réveil. Maintenez la touche ALARM enfoncée et appuyez simultanément sur la
CMX118
