Recommendations and suggestions
โ€ข๎˜ƒ The Instructions for Use apply to several versions of
this๎˜ƒappliance.๎˜ƒAccordingly,๎˜ƒyou๎˜ƒmay๎˜ƒ๎šฟnd๎˜ƒdescriptions๎˜ƒ
of๎˜ƒindividual๎˜ƒfeatures๎˜ƒthat๎˜ƒdo๎˜ƒnot๎˜ƒapply๎˜ƒto๎˜ƒyour๎˜ƒspeci๎šฟc๎˜ƒ
appliance.
โ€ข๎˜ƒ The manufacturer will not be held liable for any
damages resulting from incorrect or improper
installation.
โ€ข๎˜ƒ The minimum safety distance between the cooker
top and the extractor hood is 650 mm (some models
can be installed at a lower height, please refer to the
paragraphs on working dimensions and installation).

indicated๎˜ƒon๎˜ƒthe๎˜ƒrating๎˜ƒplate๎˜ƒ๎šฟxed๎˜ƒto๎˜ƒthe๎˜ƒinside๎˜ƒof๎˜ƒthe๎˜ƒ
hood.
โ€ข๎˜ƒ For Class I appliances, check that the domestic power
supply guarantees adequate earthing.
โ€ข๎˜ƒ Connect๎˜ƒthe๎˜ƒextractor๎˜ƒto๎˜ƒthe๎˜ƒexhaust๎˜ƒ๎›€ue๎˜ƒthrough๎˜ƒa๎˜ƒpipe๎˜ƒ
of๎˜ƒminimum๎˜ƒdiameter๎˜ƒ120๎˜ƒmm.๎˜ƒThe๎˜ƒroute๎˜ƒof๎˜ƒthe๎˜ƒ๎›€ue๎˜ƒ
must be as short as possible.
โ€ข๎˜ƒ Do not connect the extractor hood to exhaust ducts
carrying๎˜ƒcombustion๎˜ƒfumes๎˜ƒ(boilers,๎˜ƒ๎šฟreplaces,๎˜ƒetc.).
โ€ข๎˜ƒ If the extractor is used in conjunction with non-electrical
appliances๎˜ƒ(e.g.๎˜ƒgas๎˜ƒburning๎˜ƒappliances),๎˜ƒa๎˜ƒsuf๎šฟcient๎˜ƒ
degree of aeration must be guaranteed in the room
in๎˜ƒorder๎˜ƒto๎˜ƒprevent๎˜ƒthe๎˜ƒback๎›€ow๎˜ƒof๎˜ƒexhaust๎˜ƒgas.๎˜ƒThe๎˜ƒ
kitchen must have an opening communicating directly
with the open air in order to guarantee the entry of clean
air. When the cooker hood is used in conjunction with
appliances supplied with energy other than electric, the
negative pressure in the room must not exceed 0,04
mbar to prevent fumes being drawn back into the room
by the cooker hood.
โ€ข๎˜ƒ In the event of damage to the power cable, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or by the technical service
department, in order to prevent any risks.
โ€ข๎˜ƒ If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced from
the manufacturer or its service agent.
โ€ข๎˜ƒ Connect the hood to the mains through a two-pole
switch having a contact gap of at least 3 mm.
Use
โ€ข๎˜ƒ The extractor hood has been designed exclusively for
domestic use to eliminate kitchen smells.
โ€ข๎˜ƒ Never use the hood for purposes other than for which it
has been designed.
โ€ข๎˜ƒ Never๎˜ƒleave๎˜ƒhigh๎˜ƒnaked๎˜ƒ๎›€ames๎˜ƒunder๎˜ƒthe๎˜ƒhood๎˜ƒwhen๎˜ƒit๎˜ƒ
is in operation.
โ€ข๎˜ƒ Adjust๎˜ƒthe๎˜ƒ๎›€ame๎˜ƒintensity๎˜ƒto๎˜ƒdirect๎˜ƒit๎˜ƒonto๎˜ƒthe๎˜ƒbottom๎˜ƒ
of the pan only, making sure that it does not engulf the
sides.
โ€ข๎˜ƒ Deep fat fryers must be continuously monitored during
use:๎˜ƒoverheated๎˜ƒoil๎˜ƒcan๎˜ƒburst๎˜ƒinto๎˜ƒ๎›€ames.
โ€ข๎˜ƒ Do๎˜ƒnot๎˜ƒ๎›€ambรจ๎˜ƒunder๎˜ƒthe๎˜ƒrange๎˜ƒhood;๎˜ƒrisk๎˜ƒof๎˜ƒ๎šฟre.
โ€ข๎˜ƒ This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
