Operation and maintenance

Remove all packaging of the device.
Check if the voltage of the appliance corresponds to the main voltage of your home.
Rated voltage : AC220-240V 50Hz.
Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10 cm. free space around
the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
Use
The fact that the pot is completely detachable and rotates a full 360 degrees on the circular
base makes the kettle especially easy to use for both left-handed and right-handed people.
The kettle should be used exclusively for boiling water; never use it with other liquids or
ingredients. For the first use boil a full pot of water to clean the pot and discard this water.
You can open the lid by pressing the button (no. 2).
Always remove the pot from the base (no. 7) when filling it to avoid
water dripping into the base.
Always fill the pot between the minimum and
maximum evel markers (no. 3). If insufficient water
is used, the kettle may switch off, with too much
water it may boil over.
Switch the appliance on by pushing down the
On/Off button (no. 5) in the handle.
The indicator lamp (no. 6) will be illuminated.
Once the water is boiling, the on/off switch
returns automatically to the off position.
If the appliance is accidentally switched
on when no water is in, the boil-dry protection will
automatically switch it off. Adding cool water will
then cool the boil-dry protection mechanism which
enable you to use the kettle as normal.
Note:
Do not pickup the kettle from its base until it has switched off automatically or you have
switched it off yourself first.
The steam from the device is very hot, avoid any contact, you may seriously burn yourself.
Do not fill the pot higher than the MAX level indicator or boiling water may spray out.
The kettle may only be used with the accompanying base.
The cord should be completely unrolled and not left rolled around the base.
Cleaning
Remove the plug from the outlet
Allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning.
The outside of the kettle can be wiped down with a damp cloth. Never use metal polish.
The base (no. 7) should always be cleaned without water.
Never immerse the kettle and base in water or other liquid.
Decaling
Use a descaling product which is suitable for household appliances.
Follow the instructions on the packaging. Rinse the pot several times with clean water
after
decaling.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read all instructions before use.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug or appliance in water or
any other liquid.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the device to cool
before putting on or taking off parts. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged
cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any
manner.
The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may cause injuries and invalidate any warranty you may have.
Do not use outdoors, or on or near direct heat sources
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces or come
into contact with the hot parts or allow the product to be situated underneath or close
to curtains, window coverings etc.
This appliance is for household use only and only for the purpose it is made for.
The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.
This appliance is an attended appliance, and as such should never be left ON or
whilst hot without adult supervision.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical,sensory or mental capabilities,or lack of experience and knowledge,unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Guarantee
The device supplied by our Company is covered by 24 month guarantee starting on
the date of purchase (receipt).
During the life of the guarantee any fault of the device or its accessories to material
or manufacturing defects will be eliminated free of charge by repairing or, at our
discretion, by replacing it. The guarantee services do not entail an extension of the
life of the guarantee nor do they give rise to any right to a new guarantee!
Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase. Without proof of
purchase no free replacement or repair will be carried out.
If you wish to make a claim under the guarantee please return the entire machine in
the original packaging to your dealer together with the receipt.
Damage to accessories does not mean automatic free replacement of the whole
machine. In such cases please contact our hotline. Broken glass or breakage of
plastic parts are always subject to a charge.
Defects to consumables or parts subject to wearing , as well as cleaning,
maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the guarantee and
hence are to be paid!
The guarantee lapses in case of unauthorized tampering.
After the expiry of the guarantee repairs can be carried by the competent dealer or
repair service against the payment of the ensuing costs.

Fonctionnement et entretien

Retirez l’appareil de l’emballage.
Vérifiez si la tension de l’appareil correspond à la tension de votre domicile.
Tension nominale : AC220-240V 50Hz.
Installez l’appareil sur une surface plane et stable et veillez à laisser un espace libre d’au
moins 10 cm autour de l’appareil. Cet appareil n'est pas conçu pour être installé dans une
armoire et pour une utilisation extérieure.
Utilisation
La bouilloire est entièrement amovible et pivote de 360 degrés sur sa base circulaire, ce qui la
rend ts pratique à utiliser que l’on soit droitier ou gaucher.
La bouilloire sert uniquement à faire bouillir de l’eau ; ne l’utilisez jamais pour un autre liquide
ou ingrédient. Lors dune première utilisation, faites bouillir une pleine bouilloire pour la
nettoyer, puis jeter cette eau.
Vous pouvez ouvrir le couvercle en appuyant sur le bouton (n°. 2).
Retirez toujours la bouilloire de son socle (n°. 7) lors du remplissage, pour éviter tout contact
entre l’eau et le socle.
Remplissez toujours la bouilloire afin que le niveau d’eau se situe entre
les traits minimum et maximum (n°. 3). S’il n’y a pas suffisamment
d’eau, la bouilloire s’éteindra,
s’il y en a trop, l’eau débordera.
Allumez l’appareil en appuyant sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt
(n°. 5) de la poignée.
Le témoin (n°. 6) s’allume.
Lorsque l’eau bout, l’interrupteur Marche/Arrêt reviendra
automatiquement en position art.
Si par inadvertance vous allumez l’appareil sans qu’il ne
contienne d’eau, le système de sécurité qui empêche
une utilisation à vide l’éteindra automatiquement.
Remplissez la bouilloire d’eau pour refroidir le mécanisme
de sécurité : ceci vous permettra d’utiliser à nouveau normalement
la bouilloire.
Remarque :
N’ôtez la bouilloire de son socle qu’après l’arrêt automatique ou après l’avoir d’abord
éteinte à la main.
La vapeur qui sort de l’appareil est très chaude, évitez tout contact et ainsi tout risque de
brûlure sérieuse.
Ne remplissez jamais la bouilloire au-delà du niveau MAX sinon l’eau bouillante déborderait.
Utilisez uniquement la bouilloire avec le socle fourni.
Le cordon doit être entièrement déroulé ; ne le laissez pas enroulé sur le socle.

ENTRETIEN
Enlevez la fiche de la prise électrique
Laissez refroidir toute la bouilloire avant d’effectuer l’entretien.
L’extérieur de la bouilloire peut être essuyé avec un chiffon humide. N’utilisez jamais de
produits d’entretien pour les métaux.
Le socle (n°. 7) doit toujours être nettoyé sans eau.
Ne plongez jamais la bouilloire et son socle dans l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide.
Détartrage
Utilisez un produit détartrant qui convient aux appareils ménagers.
Suivez les instructions indiquées sur le paquet. Rincez la bouilloire plusieurs fois avec de l’eau
propre après le détartrage.
