MANUELL INSTALLATION

Använd knappen sabotagelarm på sensorn.

Tryck 3 gånger inom 1,5 sekunder och håll sedan

knappen nedtryckt tills dess att LED-ljuset slocknar.

Enheten är nu återställd i autoinkluderingsläge.

MANUAL SETUP

Inclusion Put controller in inclusion mode.

Press tamper switch 3 times within 1.5 seconds.

Exclusion Put controller in exclusion mode.

Press tamper switch 3 times within 1.5 seconds.

Reset

Press tamper switch 3 times within 1.5. Press and

hold tamper switch until LED turns of. The unit is

reseted and enters auto inclusion mode.

PLACERING

• Lämplig placering av sensorn är ca 2 meter upp på väggen.

• Undvik placering där sensorn exponeras för direkt regn.

• Placera INTE sensorn så att den riktas mot ett fönster eller i

direkt solljus

• Placera INTE sensorn ovanför värmekällor eller i drag.

MONTERING

• Skruva loss bakstycket genom att lossa de två skruvarna på

framsidan.

• Sätt i batterierna och testa produkten, se TESTLÄGE

• Skruva fast bakstycket på önskad plats (exempelvis vägg

eller tak)

• Skruva fast sensorn på bakstycket.

TESTLÄGE

• När batteri är på plats tar det ca 1 min för sensorn att värma

upp, under tiden lyser en röd LED

• När knappen för sabotagelarm inte är intryckt sätts sensorn

automatiskt i testläge.

• Om rörelse upptäcks lyser en röd LED för att visa att sensorn

fungerar.

• För att avsluta testläget, håll knappen intryckt i 10 sekunder.

AUTOINKLUDERING

Se till att din styrenhet är i inkluderingsläge (se styrenhetens

manual hur man söker nya enheter).

När sensorn ansluts för första gången har den inget nod-id. En

röd LED börjar blinka som visar att sensorn letar efter styrenheten.

Sensorn slutar blinka när inkluderingen är klar. Om styrenheten inte

inkluderar sensorn inom 4 minuter kan detta göras manuellt med

knappen för sabotagelarm.

Anlita fackman vid behov. Nexa kan ej hållas ansvarig

om produkten används till annat än den är producerad

för eller om instruktionen inte följs. Reparera inte

produkten, den innehåller inga reparerbara delar.

Använd inte kemikalier, lösningsmedel eller starka

rengörings medel. Utsätt inte produkten för stark

värme eller kyla.

SVENSKAENGLISH

SP-816 är en Z-Wave Plus rörelsevakt som arbetar med

passivt infrarött ljus (PIR). Den kan anslutas till Nexa

Bridge eller annan styrenhet som är Z-Wave certiﬁerad.

Rörelsevakten har sabotagelarm, inbyggd timer samt

möjlighet att ställa in ljuskänsligheten. Z-Wave Plus

tekniken ger en säker kommunikation mellan enheterna.

PLACEMENT

• Recommended place for installation is 2 meter up on the wall.

• Avoid areas where the sensor is exposed in rain.

• Do NOT position the detector facing a window or direct

sunlight.

• Do NOT position the detector directly above or facing any

source of heat or in a draught.

MOUNTING

• Remove the two screw from front side.

• Insert batteries and test the product according to TEST MODE

• Mount the back cover on desired place (wall or ceiling)

• Mount the sensor on back plate.

TEST MODE

• It will take approximately 1 minute for the detector to warm

up after a battery is inserted. The LED behind the lens will be

turned on during warm up.

• With the tamper switch not being pressed, the unit will enter

Test mode.

• If movement is detected, the LED on the detector will

illuminate implying the unit is working properly.

• To exit test mode, press the tamper switch for more than

10 seconds.

AUTO INCLUTION

Put the controller in Inclusion mode (see Controller Manual, how

to ﬁnd new units).

When the sensor is powered up for the ﬁrst time it will not be

assigned a node id. A red LED will ﬂash to show it not included

by a controller. If the sensor is not included within 4 minutes it

can be done by manual inclusion.

Read the instructions ﬁrst. Call in professional as

needed. Nexa cannot be held responsible if the

product is used for other purposes than it is designed

for, or if instructions are not followed. Do not attempt

to repair the product. It contains no serviceable parts.

Do not use chemicals, solvents or harsh detergents.

Do not expose to extreme heat or cold.

SP-816 is a Z-Wave Plus PIR motion detector. It can be

connected to Nexa Bridge or another Z-Wave controller.

The sensor has a built-in timer, lux sensor for light

sensitivity and a tamper switch. Z-Wave Plus enables

secure communications between units.

INSTÄLLNINGSMÖJLIGHETER

Aktiveringstimer

Justering av aktiveringstiden görs på vredet

för aktiveringstimer. Inställningsmöjligheten

är steglös från 5 sekunder upp till 12 minuter

innan sensorn skickar ”AV” till styrenheten.

Ljuskänslighet

Vredet för ljuskänslighet används för att

justera i vilken ljusnivå som sensorn ska

aktiveras. Står vredet på måne så är

sensorn endast aktiv på natten. Står

vredet på ”T” så är sensorn alltid aktiv.

För att ställa in ljusnivå:

1. Vrid aktiveringstimern till ”T”.

2. Vrid ljuskäslighet till månen.

3. Vänta tills det är rätt ljusnivå i omgivningen.

4. Vrid ljuskänslighetsvredet långsamt moturs samtidigt som

det är rörelse framför sensorn till dess att sensorn aktiveras

och önskad mottagare slås på.

5. Ställ tillbaka aktiveringstimern i önskat läge.

Timer

Timer knob controls how long the sensor will

wait before sending “OFF” to the controller.

It can be set from 5 seconds to 12 minutes.

Light sensitivity

The LUX adjustment sets the brightness

level threshold that will activate the motion

sensor in the detector. For instance, turning

the LUX knob to the MOON position will

activate detector’s motion sensor only night

and inactivated during the day.

To set the level threshold:

1. Turn the timer knob to “T”.

2. Turn the LUX control knob to “moon”.

3. Wait until the ambient light level reaches the level of darkness

at which you wish the detector to activate.

4. Slowly rotate the Lux knob anti-clockwise while keep creating

motion during the process until the detector sends out a signal to

turn on connected device.

5. Turn the timer knob back to the desired position.

Z-WAVE GROUP

The detector supports either one of two Z-wave Association

Groups.

Group 1: Association with 1 Controller node.

Group 2: Association with 4 nodes (i.e. end devices such as

smart plugs and other lighting controllers). This allows

the detector to transfer commands directly to end

devices without the participation of the controller.

This has the effect that when the detector triggers, all

devices associated with detector will be operated.

Group 1 commands:

• When the unit is powered up and was already a part of a

Z-Wave network, the unit will send a Notiﬁcation Report to

the node in Group 1.

•  When the detector senses a movement, the unit will send

a Notiﬁcation Report to the nodes of Group 1. Once the

movement is stopped, a Notiﬁcation Report will be sent again

to Group 1.

•  Upon detector status being changed, the unit will check its

battery status simultaneously. When the battery level of the

unit drops to an unacceptable level, the unit will emit Battery

report to the nodes of Group 1.

• When performing Factory Reset the unit will send Device

Reset Locally Notiﬁcation to the node of Group1.

Group 2 commands:

•  When the detector is triggered, the unit will send BASIC_SET

command which contains a value to the nodes of Group 2.

WAKEUP COMMAND CLASS

After it has been included into a Z-wave network, the detector

will go to sleep but will send a Wakeup Notiﬁcation Command

periodically at preset period to the controller. The Motion detector

will stay awake for 10 seconds at least and then go back to sleep

to conserve battery life.

The time interval between Wakeup Notiﬁcation Commands can

be set in the Wakeup Command Class based on the range values

below:

Minimum Wake Up Interval 600 s (10 minutes)

Maximum Wake Up Interval 86400 s (1 day)

Default Wake Up Interval 14400 s (4 hours)
