IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

According to OSHA, any exposure in excess of the above permissible limits could result in some hearing loss. Earplugs or protectors to the ear canals or over the ears must be worn when operating this amplification
system in order to prevent a permanent hearing loss, if exposure is in excess of the limits as set forth above. To ensure against potentially dangerous exposure to high sound pressure levels, it is recommended that
all persons exposed to equipment capable of producing high sound pressure levels such as this amplification system be protected by hearing protectors while this unit is in operation.

17. Note pour les Royaumes-Unis: Si les couleurs de connecteurs du cable d’alimentation ne correspond pas au guide de la prise secteur, procédez comme suit: a) Le connecteur vert et jaune doit être
connectrer au terminal noté E, indiquant la prise de terre ou correspondant aux couleurs verte ou verte et jaune du guide. b) Le connecteur Bleu doit être connectrer au terminal noté N, correspondnat à la
couleur noire du guide. c) Le connecteur marron doit être connectrer au terminal noté L, correspondant à la couleur rouge du guide.

Your SanperaTM II is powered by your VYPYR® amplier and requires the special 8-pin MIDI cable included
with your Sanpera in order to function correctly.

This pedal controls the overall volume of the amplier. To enter TUNER MODE, simply depress the toe area of the expression pedal
to activate the internal switch. While in TUNER MODE the pedal will continue to control the volume of the amplier, allowing you
to choose whether or not you hear the note you are tuning.
NOTE: You can swap the functionality of the two on board Expression pedals by entering CALIBRATION MODE.
These LEDs indicate whether the pedal is in MAIN MODE or AUX MODE. Depress the toe area of the expression pedal to switch
between modes.
Left pedal: Volume/Tuner Right pedal: Wah/Pitch Shift
This button allows you to scroll downward through a list of BANKS that contain four PRESETS each. The button also serves to help
scroll through characters while naming PRESETS.
Same as item 3, only it scrolls in the opposite direction.
TIP: You can hold down the Bank Up and Bank Down buttons to scroll quickly.
The presets are stored in banks of four. Banks A, B, and
C 1-4 correspond with the preset buttons on the front of
your VYPYR® amplier. There are an additional 100
banks of 4 allowing you to explore and store up to 412
unique presets in your VYPYR amplier.
This displays the name of the preset selected on your
VYPYR amplier. To change the name simply press
and hold any one of the four preset select buttons (items
12- 5) while in PRESET MODE. Use buttons 3 and 4 to
scroll through characters and buttons 6 and 7 to advance
or move the cursor backward through the preset name.
To store a preset, select the desired bank using buttons 3
and 4 while the cursor is positioned under item A. After
you are nished selecting the bank and desired name,
press any one of the preset buttons (items 12-15) to store
the new preset in that location. You can also abort the
store by pressing the Tap Tempo button (item 10).
The display screen indicates not only which patch and amp model is
currently selected, it also indicates which effects are active, and which
effects are on standby ready to be activated.

This displays the stompbox selected on the Stompbox encoder on the VYPYR amplier. If the item appears in CAPS the effect is ON;
if it appears in lower case text, the effect is off. The effect can be turned on and off without changing presets (see MANUAL MODE).
This displays the amplier selected on the Amplier encoder on the VYPYR
® amplier.
This displays the effect selected on the Effect encoder on the VYPYR amplier. If the item appears in CAPS the effect is ON; if it ap-

You will spend hours with this! To record a loop for playback simply start playing, when you want to START the loop, press this
button and the amp will begin recording the loop. When you want to STOP recording, press this button again and the looper will stop
recording and automatically begin to play back.
To STOP a loop in process, press this button. To ERASE the currently stored loop (recorded by pressing button 6), press and hold this
button for 3 seconds.
These LEDs indicate whether the pedals is in MAIN MODE or AUX MODE. Depress the toe area of the expression pedal to switch
between modes. Out of the box Main indicates Wah, Aux indicates Pitch Shift.
When active, this pedal controls a universal wah. To activate the wah depress the toe area of the footswitch. When Pitch Shift is se-
lected on the amplier, this pedal will control the pitch of the signal.
Tap this button to set the tempo of the delay. If you don’t hear the delay effect chances are its not turned ON in the preset. The LED
above the button indicates the current delay tempo.
TIP: You can change amp presets after you have recorded your loop, allowing you to play a totally different sound over top of the loop!

Pressing this button allows you to be able to turn on and off individual effects using buttons 12-15. Essentially this control allows you
to select between the ability to access the four PRESETS that are in the selected BANK, or turn on and off individual effects. When
the LEDs above this button AND above buttons 12-15 are red, you are in PRESET MODE. PRESET MODE allows you to select
between the three presets in the selected bank, indicated by the three numbers (1-3) ABOVE buttons 12-15. NOTE: The rst genera-
tion Vypyr ampliers had the presets arranged in 3 banks of 4 presets each. The Sanpera II still includes button 15 for customers using
Vypyr series 1. For the Vypyr VIP series and when in PRESET MODE, button 15 will be inoperatible.When the LEDs above button
11 AND buttons 12-15 are GREEN you are in MANUAL MODE and can manually turn on and off individual effects indicated by the
labels BELOW buttons 12-15.
TIP: If you’d like to swap the location of the expression pedals, just enter calibration mode and follow the on-screen instructions!
In PRESET MODE, this button will select the preset stored in location

In PRESET MODE, this button will select the preset stored in location 4 of the selected bank (item 5). If using the rst genera-
tion Vypyr ampliers. If using a Vypyr VIP amplier, this button will be inoperative when in PRESET MODE.
In MANUAL MODE, this button will turn ON/OFF the Reverb selected on the amplier. When the LED is OFF the reverb is also
OFF. NOTE: The new Vypyr VIP series has the presets arranged in sets of 3. Because of this, when using the new Sanpera foot con-
troller with the Vypyr VIP series, in PRESET MODE this button will be inoperative.
Occasionally it may be necessary to re-calibrate your expression pedals, or the LCD contrast. To enter calibration mode, press and
hold button 15. While holding button 15, momentarily press button 12 to activate CALIBRATION MODE, then simply follow the
on-screen instructions. After calibration, turn the VYPYR
® off and back on to use the new settings.

10. Tap Tempo
Toque este botón para congurar el tempo del delay. Si no escucha el efecto delay,
existe la probabilidad de que no esté encendido (ON) en la conguración predetermina-
da. El LED que se encuentra arriba del botón indica el tempo de delay actual.
11. Manual Mode
Al presionar este botón podrá encender y apagar efectos individuales utilizando los
botones 12-15. Básicamente, este control le permite seleccionar entre la posibilidad de
acceder a las cuatro CONFIGURACIONES PREDETERMINADAS que se encuentran
en el BANK seleccionado, o encender y apagar efectos individuales. Cuando los LEDs
que se encuentran encima de este botón Y los botones 12-15 están en rojo, usted está
en PRESET MODE (MODO CONFIGURACIÓN PREDETERMINADA). El MODO
CONFIGURACIÓN PREDETERMINADA le permite seleccionar entre cuatro con-
guraciones predeterminadas del banco seleccionado, indicado con los números (1-4)
que se encuentran SOBRE los botones 12-15. Cuando los LEDs que se encuentran
sobre el botón 11 Y los botones 12-15 estén en VERDE, estará en MODO MANUAL
y podrá encender y apagar los efectos individuales manualmente, indicados por los
rótulos que se encuentran DEBAJO de los botones 12-15.
12. Configuración Predeterminada 1/

MODO CALIBRACIÓN:
Ocasionalmente, podría ser necesario volver a calibrar
sus pedales de expresión, o el contraste del LCD. Para in-
gresar al modo calibración, presione y sostenga el botón
15. Mientras sostiene el botón 15, presione momentá-
neamente el botón 12 para activar el MODO CALIBRA-
CIÓN, luego simplemente siga las instrucciones que
aparecen en la pantalla. Para utilizar la nueva congura-
ción después de la calibración, apague y vuelva encender
el VYPYR®.

1. Pédale d'expression
Cette pédale contrôle le volume général de l'amplicateur. Pour entrer en
MODE TUNER, appuyez simplement sur le bout de la pédale d'expression
pour activer l'interrupteur interne. Une fois en MODE TUNER, la pédale
continuera de contrôler le volume de l'amplicateur, ce qui vous permettra
de choisir si vous souhaitez entendre la note que vous réglez ou pas.
REMARQUE : Vous pouvez échanger la fonctionnalité des deux pédales
d'expression embarquées en entrant en MODE CALIBRATION.
2. Voyants LED Main / AUX
Ces LED indiquent si la pédale est en MODE MAIN ou en MODE AUX.
Appuyez sur le bout de la pédale d'expression pour passer d'un mode à l'autre.
Pédale gauche : Volume/Tuner Pédale droite : Changement wah/pitch shift
3. Bank Bas
Ce bouton vous permet de faire déler vers la bas la liste des BANKS qui
contiennent quatre PRÉSÉLECTIONS chacune. Ce bouton sert aussi à par-
courir les caractères lors de la dénomination des PRÉSÉLECTIONS.
4. Bank Haut
Comme l'article 3, mais pour faire déler dans la direction inverse.

5. Écran d'affichage
L'écran d'afchage indique non seulement le modèle d'ampli et de patch
sélectionné mais il indique aussi les effets activés et les effets qui sont en
veille et prêts à être activés.

A. Indication de banque et de Présélection
Les présélections sont enregistrées par banques de quatre. Les Banks A, B, et C 1-4 correspondent aux boutons de
présélection qui se trouvent sur le devant de votre amplicateur VYPYR ®. Il existe 100 autres banques de 4 vous
permettant d’expériementer et d'enregistrer jusqu'à 412 présélections uniques dans votre amplicateur VYPYR.
B. Nom de la présélection
Celui-ci afche de nom de la présélection choisie sur votre amplicateur VYPYR. Pour changer le nom, maintenez
enfoncé n'importe lequel des quatre boutons de présélection (éléments 12-15) en MODE PRÉSÉLECTION. Utilisez
les boutons 3 et 4 pour parcourir les caractères et les boutons 6 et 7 pour faire avancer ou reculer le curseur parmi
les noms des présélections. Pour stocker une présélection, sélectionnez la banque souhaitée à l'aide des boutons 3
et 4 lorsque le curseur est placé sous l'élément A. Une fois que vous avez terminé de sélectionner la banque et le
nom désirés, appuyez sur n'importe lequel des boutons de présélection (éléments 12-15) pour enregistrer la nouvelle
présélection dans cette position. Vous pouvez également interrompre la mémorisation en appuyant sur le bouton Tap
Tempo (élément 10).
C. Indication Stompbox
La Stompbox sélectionnée sur l'encodeur de Stompbox de l'amplicateur VYPYR s’afche. Si l'élément apparait en

apparait en MAJUSCULES, l'effet est en ACTIVÉ, s'il apparait en minuscules, l’effet est désactivé. Les effets

Le statut de l'effet de retardement s’afche. Lorsque « DL » est en MAJUSCULES, l'effet en est ACTIVÉ, lorsque
