before using the resistance system.
IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS
1. Read all instructions in this manual and in the
literature accompanying the resistance sys-
tem before using the resistance system. Use
the resistance system only as described in
the literature.
2. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure
that all users of the resistance system are
adequately informed of all precautions.
3. Keep children under 12 and pets away from
the resistance system at all times.
4. Keep hands and feet away from moving parts.
5. Use only the resistance included with a MAX
PACK.Do not use other types of weight with
the resistance system.
6. When adding resistance, both ends of the
resistance bars must rest under the two “U”-
channels. Add and remove resistance bars
from the “U”-channels one resistance bar at a
time.
7. Keep clear of the area around the “U”-chan-
nels while the resistance system is in use. Do
not add or remove resistance bars from the
“U”-channels while the end of the long cable
is pulled out.
8. Make sure that all parts are properly tight-
ened each time the resistance system is
used. Replace any worn parts immediately.
9. If you feel pain or dizziness at any time while
exercising, stop immediately and begin cool-
ing down.

is especially important for persons over the age of 35 or persons with pre-existing health problems.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Thank you for selecting the MAX PACK resistance sys-
tem. The MAX PACK uses progressive resistance. As
the resistance bars begin to bend, the amount of resis-
tance will increase gradually.As the resistance bars
bend further, the resistance will increase rapidly. The
MAX PACK is designed to increase the amount of
resistance available on the resistance system.
For your benefit, read this manual carefully before
using the MAX PACK and the resistance system. If
you have questions after reading this manual, see the
front cover of this manual. Tohelp us assist you,
please note the product model number and serial
number before calling. The model number is
PFMC0825.0. The serial number can be found on the
product packaging. Record the serial number on the
front cover of this manual.
Toavoid a registration fee for any service needed
under warranty, you must register the MAX PACK
at www.iconservice.com/registration.
