Safety
• The clock radio must only be repaired by qualified service technicians.
• The clock radio is for indoor use only.
• Do not place theclock radio where there is arisk of it falling into water or other liquid.
• Do not place theclock radio in damp or dusty environments or where it could be
subject to strong vibrations.
• Do not expose theclock radio to extremely high or low temperatures. Do not
expose theproduct to direct sunlight.
• Never try to open, change or modify theclock radio in any way.
• Always remove thebatteries if theclock radio is not to be used for along time.

band when setting radio stations.

Operating instructions
Battery
1. Open thebattery cover at theback of theclock radio by sliding it in thedirection of
thearrow. Remove any possible insulation film from thebattery. The insulating film
is used to maintain battery capacity during transport and storage.
2. Slide thebattery cover back into place.
Note:
• During power cuts theclock’s battery maintains all time and alarm settings.
However, it must be remembered that thedisplay will be blank, theradio will not
function and the when powered by thebackup battery.alarm will not sound
• A new battery (CR2032) has thecapacity to retain settings for about 3 days.
