Crescendo duo
Two-Channel Microphone Preamplier with
V Technology
The Crescendo features a fully balanced signal flow. The input stage uses duo
 pairs of matched PNP Transistors (Dierential Input Transistors) for extremely
low noise and a very high common mode rejection.
Both input stages have six th generation V SPL SUPRA Operation Ampliers
each.
The transformerless design of the input/output stages guarantees highly linear
amplifying.
The output stages operate as current ampliers and therefore provide Class-A
operation with more than 6mA quiescent current.
Start up
Read the security advices on page .
Make sure that the selected mains voltage of the Crescendo is according to duo
the mains voltage of your region.
Make sure that the mains switch on the rear of the Crescendo duo is set to O
(O = O / ON = I).
Connect the supplied power cord to the Crescendo and an appropriate duo
mains socket outlet.
If the supplied power cord does not match your mains socket outlet, please contact your dealer.
Please connect the outputs of the Crescendo to the inputs of your audio duo
interface or mixing console.
Connect your microphones to the inputs  and  of the Crescendo with duo
high-quality microphone cables.
Microphone cables not included in the scope of delivery.
Switch on mains on the rear of the Crescendo (On = I).duo
The VU meter light up.

The phantom power required for condenser microphones can be activated with
the V switch.
If phantom power is on, the V LED lights up blue.
IMPORTANT:
Use phantom power only for condenser microphones. For all other microphone types – especially
ribbon micorphones – switch o the phantom power!
Use the Mic Gain switch to adjust the preamplication gain in  dB steps.to
The Output Gain controls the output level from -  to + dB.
With the OUTPUT switch the signal can be completely switched o.
The polarity of a microphone signal can be inversed (°) with the Polarity
Inversal switch.
The High Pass switch activates a high pass lter with dB per ocatve at  Hz.
If the input signal is too hot, switch on PAD. This reduces the level by dB.
You can make the VU Meters less sensitive by activating the VU-dB switch.
Power down
Switch omains on the back of the Crescendo (O = O).duo
The VU Meter no longer light up.
