Introduction:
The 2.4 GHz frequency band is very busy due to applications like Bluetooth®, WiFi and
wireless networks. Therefore the signals of such equipment are easily distorted. That is
why the VID-TRANS515KN uses the 5.8 GHz frequency, to minimize any interference
from such devices. Due to the unique design the system can be installed out of sight
on the rear of LCD TVs, DVD, etc. Retractable housing with SCART-lock connectors.
The reach is 100 m in the open field and 30 m indoor. Now you can enjoy wireless video
and audio in your house, without any problems. Includes infrared extension for control of
connected equipment with the original remote control.
Description receiver and transmitter:
1. POWER BUTTON
2. DC 7.5V INPUT
3. CONNECTION FOR IR EXTENSION CABLE
4. POWER INDICATOR, lights up red when powered ON
5. SCART CONNECTOR
6. CHANNEL SELECTOR, select same channel on transmitter and receiver
7. ANTENNA CONNECTOR, place the 5.8GHz antenna on the connector

Installation of the transmitter and receiver:
1. Plug the transmitter into the SCART output port of VCR, DVD or SAT.
2. Plug the receiver into the SCART input of the LCD screen, PLASMA screen or
television.
3. Put the plug of the power adapter into the transmitter and the receiver and in to a 230 V
wall outlet. Note: only use the provided adapters.
4. Power ON the transmitter and receiver with the power button.
5. Select the desired channel with a combination of the switches. If a channel gives some
distortion in picture and sound try another combination.
Using the remote control feature:
The system not only allows you to send audio/video from one area to another, it also gives
you the ability to control the source device using your original remote control device. It
converts the infrared (IR) signal emitted by your remote control to a radio frequency (RF)
signal in UHF band at the receiver and sends it back to the transmitter where the RF
signal is converted back to the original IR signal and beamed to the audio/video source.
Use the IR cable and connect the 2.5mm plug to the input jack on the back of the
transmitter (IR-T). Place the IR sensor on the display of the original equipment you want to
control. It’s very important you place the IR sensor as close as possible to the IR receiver
of the source device, this receiver is normally behind the display. If this function is not
working correctly check the placement of the IR sensor carefully.
VCR, DVD, SAT or other device
IR sensor in front of the display
Use the IR cable and connect the 3.5mm plug to the input jack on the back of the receiver
(IR-R). Place the IR sensor in front of the equipment. For receiving the infrared signals of
the remote control it’s important the sensor is placed in sight.
